Read the rules. In an HBP situation, the umpires can issue warnings OR eject the pitcher and/or manager if, in their opinion, it was intentional. It is a judgement call. They are not required to issue warnings first before ejections.
Umpires are proving slowly but surely that they are not really needed in a game. If they are, police officers would have to handle any fights. How can anyone tell if a ball is fair or foul traveling to right or left field and it goes over the foul pole? Where the current challenges are resolved in baseball, they would sure be more busy if umpires go away.
