I had a similar situation to number 23 on the lightning. This was a playoff game and I got tripped, it was obvious, but the ref called ME for a penalty. the call wasn’t changed. I was yelling and arguing with the ref because of how stupid the call was and I got a 10 minute misconduct for that. That was a game we needed to win that call costed my team our season. Refs really need to 1, look and now make season costing calls that are completely oblivious, and 2, refs need to grow up and learn to listen to someone else instead of their side.
As an official since 2017 we were TAUGHT to sell the call. AND THESE REFS DIDNT SELL THAT CALL 😅

the original call on eyssimont should be reviewed and dealt with --- There's no excuse for consciously making that decision and carrying out calling it in front of the whole arena -- forget having your eyes checked, this referee needs a full psyche evaluation and drug test.
