The round four-strand braid is often used as the end of friendship bracelets and lace-woven necklaces. It doesn't matter how the four strings are initially arranged. The key to braiding is to divide the strings into two groups, one on the left and one on the right. For easy viewing, I used two purple strings in one group and two pink strings in the other.
