The boat is still on the hard. I got laid off from my job on April 1st (haha 🤬) and my financial priorities shifted. I'm slowly climbing out of that and I'm hoping to step the mast in the next week or two, then in the spring I'll strip and repaint the bottom. I'm hopeful to get her back into the water early next season. Thanks for asking!
@@ontheruntonowhere ahh glad the vision is still alive. I’m a software dev so I can understand a bit of your employment struggle. I work in an office but would like to go remote at some point. I bought a cheap J24 last week as my first boat so will be doing some work over winter as well. Hope we both splash next year!
@@ontheruntonowhere I’m doing full stack now corporate gig. Working with a react front end and Postgres backend has been a lot to learn since ive never used this tech stack before. I hope to be a fully remote so I can peruse other interest like sailing

I've been trying to find a React client, but I specialize in WordPress and I keep getting WP referrals, which I guess I shouldn't complain about. I've done a bit of React on my own and it's a lot of fun. Have you worked with Astro at all? That's a fun one.
