My dear brother, I have a Honda Jazz, the rpm reaches 3, and the rpm counter rises, and the gear does not change, and it slips, and the p1887 code appeared. I replaced the speed sensor with the solenoid valve, to no avail, and the problem is still there. Is the problem inside the transmission or an electrical problem? Please help, thank you.
This first generation Honda Fit has this CVT transmission with starter clutch, would the 3rd generation Honda Fit with CVT (with torque converter) work on this model? Using as a reference the version with 1.5 engine (L15A)
Hi Pat, in my cause I removed the engine and gearbox. So only disconnected the exhaust close to the engine. I didn’t remove it at the manifold itself 😉👍👍

Great video they don't make them anymore like that and not bad. A day and a half work dropping the engine and gearbox job done brilliant 👏
These jobs can sometimes be nice once your not called away too often 😉
Better be yor project coz here in Africa we can do 2- 3 boxes a day.

12 hrs @ €50, €500 for transmission & oil but it is a 12 year old car so not worth spending any more on it. Cheers Mike 😉

Is this not a long way to remove the box. than to remove drive shafts,front bumper and radiator then u done 🤔. Otherwise great job
Possibly, I just thought it was going to be too close to the gearbox side chassis to get enough clearance 🤷🏼♂️

I would think it is inside the CVT transmission, they can be very troublesome 🤔🤔

It took me around 1 day & a half, so 12 hrs.
It then depends on the garage rate, second had box should be gotten for under €500 👍👍
