For autocross, I would think getting quick spool to power out of corners would be more important. But its always going to depend a bit on the course set-up and driver. Seat time is probably more important than turbo selection. But if you need an answer, i'd say stock evo 9 turbo or look into the new mitsu 18k MHI turbo option.

the stock Evo 9 turbo is perfect. 400whp with fast spool.
