I know this video is 4 years old, but I was really unfamiliar with this track and had never heard of it before. I’ll be there for SCCA track night coming up, appreciate the in-depth lines you’re showing.
Dude I just moved in right down the street from this place. I've seen the signs but I had no idea it was this magisterial. Now I got to buy a car. I don't think my Ram is going to do well on that circuit.
I think I parked my Miata next to you on 4/24/19. I was running the novice group and had a blast. I was pretty close to being on your recommended line but I was 20 seconds slower!
Nice Lap. I'm about 6 seconds slower than you in a car with 430 hub hp (hub dyno not wheel dyno) and 391 lbs ft of torque. I need to work on being braver and getting more track time.
Thanks for the content. I enjoyed the breakdown. The math got a little fuzzy at the end, earning a higher overall score than (7.5) than any individual category, but who's counting! haha.
Glad you enjoyed it! The numbers do not equal direct math. Especially since a higher fun factor number is a positive, but a higher risk factor number would be weighted more negative. Quick overview of tracks here if you are interested. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ve8yzOrvAO5y7_MQRUzNRXUws9PDYjikYfhRFZL1jDM/edit#gid=0

This is great, I would love to see more tracks!
I love watching you drive, Andy. You’re an animal.
Great to see some new content & this new approach works well IMO
I took my R3 around BFR at a MotoVid day a few years back. Didn't tempt myself by timing laps, but I sure as shit didn't do it in 1:15. Bravo!
I just signed up for my first hpde at this track and was looking for a video like this. PERFECT timing and great video thank you!

This track was around in the 1960s. Glad it's still here. Local historical society might cover it.
Thank you for this. I appreciate it.
Taking the Leggy this Saturday 😀
I've taken my mini Cooper and my del Sol on this track, it's way too much fun.
Really cool little track! Wonder do they ever do track days for Bikes 🏍️?
Great lap, great lap time, wow!
I would say the 365Motorsports EVO is pretty damn fast lol
Any experience with the Grattan track in Michigan?
Did my first road coarse hear back in 12.
Not fair was up against vipers, gtrs, and lol..was in my 82 Rx7.. but was first on grid call, every time

A 1:15 lap at Blackhawk is a pretty good lap. I do not believe you could do it in a ; 3000 lb car, only 300 horsepower (crank) and street tires.
