i remember listening to this guys and TBS,finch, the used, alkaline trio etc. just to make me feel better coz our life was so hard back then, we moved from house to house of our relatives. now im like 30 and listening to this and a successful businessman holding my bottle of Jack. cheers to you my friends who still listen to them.
Senses fail is one of many bands like this that never got the real recognition they deserved. They had success but they where still very underrated which is sad because they should have been superstars.
As a kid id always listen to senses fail and play tony hawks pro skater 3 on the ps2. Man does time fly, things were so much simpler and hearing this again brings me back to that time
I just wish people would stop arguing on youtube and just enjoy the music. To some of us, music is our escape from everything else. Senses Fail saved my life, and I cant even describe how much I appreciate that. You guys should seriously just stop arguing and enjoy the music.... Some of us actually take it seriously.
Senses Fail you guys are amazing you have inspired me beyond imagination can conceive. I have been listening to your music for 14 years and I have always stayed true to you guys. I love you all to the bottom of my heart thank you all for the amazing music you have given us all.
People shouldn't be asking for thumbs up for listening to this song in 2011. They should be giving a thumbs up for still thinking this band/song is better than most music nowadays in 2011.
And this when I totally went from listening to totally horrid music to Oh My God Senses fail made me love this type of music. :) Gosh I was ten years old when I first heard this song.
I can't believe I've never listened to these guys before. This is the first song I've heard by them so far and it fucking rocks, reminds me of the older days when Fuse was good.
You will always have to remember a lie, but you can forget the truth. Burying a lie on top of a lie is not the best way to go. You will be respected if you tell the truth. May God Bless anyone that reads this. In your name I pray. Amen.
I know I'm a cantankerous old fart for saying this, but fuck new music. In my book, 2000-2008 were the best years for post-hardcore. Now it's mostly over-produced breakdown "-core" that's making the sales. But music like this was and still remains the best.
I agree. It was still pretty underground back then, no one expected to sell platinum records with this genre and hence the music was straight from the artist and not about trying to cash in on trends. Anyone whos gonna argue that the early 2000's werent superior as far as post-hardcore and other genres in that style go are just wrong. I hate to say that but its true, I dropped out of the scene around 2006-07 after I graduated high school and even then it was basically dead and you were starting to see a lot of cash-in garbage bands. And youre right, its either overly heavy, breakdown-laden death-core/bro-core type shit or straight up pop music with a punk/metal paint job over it nowadays. Theres no more creativity or originality in the genre anymore. I used to be big into all of those bands in highschool and there was so much variety in the scene. Sure there were copycat bands but it was more or less just underground rock music that you didnt get on the radio, now it seems theres a whole stringent genre built around it and its basically what you described and ita pretty fucking trash.
le wrong generation DAE new music sucks im just gonna ignore the amount of absolute garbage there was back in the day too take off the rose-tinted glasses grandpa
