I love Converge, but I saved listening to this for five years just so I could open it at the right time like a fine wine. Today was the day. Worth it. Converge ages well.
Man I love Jake's art. I like bands like Converge, Kylesa, and Baroness where members are visual artists in addition to musicians so they control every aspect of their art instead of having to bring in somebody to do album art or whatever. Its really cool to me
It's crazy to think, but I have seen 90 percent of the bands people mention in the comments. It's tight though because this is stuff people should really just experience rather than talk about, or pigeon-hole into some arbitrary music genre. This song rules though.
The start feels like you're getting blasted point-blank with a shotgun like 32 times and that's pretry much the minimum level of atom-rending intensity the song operates at for the next 2 & 1/2 minutes.
XqZz this whole album has always struck me as very black metalcore. Especially with some the atmosphere in the later part of the album. Always a top one from these guys
Jarroad Allongay I love Suicide Season but instrumentally I can definitely see how they might have been inspired by them especially with the guitar probably and maybe a little with the drums too, and what's TISA?
back in college, i was walking around campus when a fucking flower delivery van passed by blaring this at max volume. i will never forget that moment.
How did you find out the song name?
How long ago ? And what city? It was probably me haha
@@1983Zoltan If not, how many hardcore florists are out here
@@myron9307 he prob already knew the song since it was such a big moment for him

I'm so glad these guys and Cave In are from my state. Being from Massachusetts isn't the worst.

Man I love Jake's art. I like bands like Converge, Kylesa, and Baroness where members are visual artists in addition to musicians so they control every aspect of their art instead of having to bring in somebody to do album art or whatever. Its really cool to me
One of favourites from All We Love We Leave Behind!
I can clearly hear Lemmy through that voice at 2:08
Them drums.
5thSuit I'm getting a Nails vibe.
Kurt Ballou produced both this and "You will never be one of us".
I've already known this, and I've got into Nails b4 I've got into Converge.
Them guitars...
Doctor, my face melted off
with "coral blue" this is my favourite song from the new album.
Every time I listen to this song, that part makes me laugh for a moment.
It's crazy to think, but I have seen 90 percent of the bands people mention in the comments. It's tight though because this is stuff people should really just experience rather than talk about, or pigeon-hole into some arbitrary music genre. This song rules though.

I enjoy puddin432123's variant as well. :3
The fact that they are from my area makes them that much more fucking amazing.
The start feels like you're getting blasted point-blank with a shotgun like 32 times and that's pretry much the minimum level of atom-rending intensity the song operates at for the next 2 & 1/2 minutes.

Am I the only one who feels a strong black-metal-vibe?
XqZz this whole album has always struck me as very black metalcore. Especially with some the atmosphere in the later part of the album. Always a top one from these guys
@@WillieG1016 to me, that record sounds like an fusion between sludge metal/grindcore and some punk-angle on steroids, lol.
This is one of the hardest fucking songs ever recorded
this song MELTS FACE
TRUE face melter
buena musica
Holy fucking jesus christ, this hits hard.
Heavy!
Brutal.

My cow listened to this song.
It's a lean steak dinner and a leather jacket now.

Not even close to black metal :)
Still this is fucking heavy.
Dan Webster You got a problem, keyboard warrior?
+jimmy john Did... anyone say it was?
I don't understand the existence of this clarification. It's clearly not black metal
+jimmy john Not hardcore either, Mathcore!
+MrKylePopovich not mathcore either, just converge!
I can see how BMTH was influenced by them with songs like "The Fox and the Wolf"
CreeperBandito The reason why I love BMTH's Suicide Season and TISA because it's just Converge worship.
Jarroad Allongay I love Suicide Season but instrumentally I can definitely see how they might have been inspired by them especially with the guitar probably and maybe a little with the drums too, and what's TISA?
CreeperBandito There is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It.
Jarroad Allongay Oh I've never heard it said that way lol I was pretty sure thats what you meant though
I hope what you just said is a joke.
Nice 1
speed of converge .... 5000 head bangs a second

First :D .. Sick fuckin song!
This is epitath...thus your comment is invalid
lol
i would describe converge as if chon had a stroke
Lmao Chon is innocent as hell
chon is boring as hell
Converge has been around way longer than Chon. Converge started out in 1990 and Chon started in 2008.
