Thank you for this video! I can t wait to try this layout once I can work again( I’m in Melbourne !) With the new Covid safe requirements this is an effective way to keep on top of everything
Thanks Mark! I started a LONG time ago... I did a short course, then practiced on anyone who would sit in my chair, and then networked with anyone and everyone, did as many shoots as I could. I made a LOT of mistakes, but I was persistent!! Are you a MUA?
Hi Sue, Thanks for your video. Do you have a video on how to set up a kit? Like what to start out with inside your kit. You say you use different brushes for each client, how does this work for a freelance mua? Thanks!
Hi Haylee, thanks for your comment. I have been asked a couple of times to create a video on "what's in my kit" or a good starter kit. I'm planning to do that soon. I just need to find a place where I can set up my kit with good room and lots of light! I keep my brushes in a separate little bag for each client. Each bag is numbered. I probably need to update that video too!!
Very nice video! could you tell us where did you buy the single black clear bags and the 4 section bag? The loose pigments are really a good idea! Which are the brands you love most for loose pigments? Thank you!! Look forward to see more videos from you! :)
Thank you! The clear bags came with the case I have, its the Chelsea case from Designer Makeup Tools. You can find similar bags to fit a Zuca almost anywhere (Google Zuca insert bags). The quad bag I bought from a luggage store. I searched for something similar for a long time before I found it! The loose pigments are from Kylie's Professional, a small indie brand located on the Gold Coast here in Australia. They are vegan and cruelty free, which is another big plus. www.kylies.com.au
Thanks Sue this was super helpful!
So glad you found it helpful Alexandria.

You're welcome Kerrie-Anne. It definitely saves time not unpacking everything from the bags (and they all stack in my kit bag perfectly!
Yes! I love finding MUA TH-cam accounts that are as informative as yours! Thank you. ❤️ if I may ask, how did you get your start as an MUA?
