I done this for years along with Instagram Facebook paid wedding directories advertising in magazines paid ads on social media. But for me i still don't get bookings been 9 years business just bleeds money lots of training have good reviews. I am afraid i don't get booked. Need to shut down i struggle so much with money.

Hi Sue, if a make up artists accepts your deposit, can they then turn around and cancel on you? My make up artist took my deposit, and is now trying to cancel it for no apparent reason.

This was so helpful as I have done a few friends makeup and also helped out on student films. I always notice more recently on how my clients feel and sometimes feel as though they are uncomfortable about something or I worry if am taking to long on the makeup. I am going to challenge myself in taking up this technique that you have shared and use it when working on my clients. I am still learning all of this and this is what I needed to hear thank you xx

Some videos promise a lot and don’t really deliver where as this is the business side that should really be taught in makeup school and sometimes isn’t covered in depth enough

Thankfully here in Sweden nobody expects makeup to be done in 30minutes but sometimes even fitting in an hour is an issue for me. 😅 the eyeliner trick and making sections of face is so amazing, I will be practicing on everything you mentioned!
