Looked amazing those cities. Glad you got the cotton ball out and it seems like the kids are really enjoying life
Man flu...😢 good luck, Kera! You're a brave lady.
Hehe, need lots of luck with this one 😂
What fantastic family memories ye are making. That town looks beautiful.
We’ve been to some really lovely towns here!
Great video. Looks like a beautiful place. Nice to see you all having a good time. Thanks for sharing your travels. Hope you’re over your cold, Richard.
Ive never been more satisfied in all my life 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I didn't think that bit cotton was going to budge
Neither did I! I was dreading a trip to A&E as it was a Saturday, that would have been the only place we could go
@@Touringwiththekidsyou were right, the slightest twitch, nudge from the dog, anything like that & it's bye-bye hearing.
Ask in any A&E or doctor's surgery, sticking things in ears is a definite no-no.
really enjoy watching your content every sunday, you always bring the feel good vibes
Hi guys love the video s you and your family have a lovely week London is wet and cold 😊😊😊😊
Thank you! You too! Hope the weather is better for you next week.
A lot of trouble for five minutes peace. Glad you sorted the ear problem. Another excellent vlog. Looking forward to next weeks.
Ha ha we got the German alarm thing right in the market square in Rothenburg, everyone’s phone was going off, we wondered what the heck was going on. We also stopped at Nördlingen (thanks for the pig story, we wondered why they were everywhere) too on the way to Rothenburg (which I know you will love)
Safe travels👍 Ady n Val
I'm feeling your pain brother with the man flu... Rest is needed 😄
Welcome Back. I’ve been waiting 😊
Yay, thank you! Hope you enjoy the vid ☺️
Man flu is real, feel really bad for you Rick. hopefully your team will help you feel better..
We did the Romantic Road on our way home from Austria in August. Didn’t have much time to do it justice so will have to go back. We loved Rothenburg ob der Tauber, I am guessing that will be in next weeks video.
Never put anything in your ear, a work collogue was told years back, only to put his elbow in his ear by an ear surgeon. I will use y little finger to scrape out anything near the entrance, but everyone's ears are different. The snag is that you cannot get replacements!
I have travelled all over most of Europe, but for some reason, I have never been to Germany. Thank you for inspiring me! x
Honestly Germany is so underrated, we absolutely love it here x
good night Kiera and the children and Rich and Rose the dog I love watching your TH-cam videos on your TH-cam channel I hope you all are well and enjoying your adventures aboard and in your converted truck please say hello to the children and Rose the dog please keep safe and warm and please keep up your good work on your youtube channel
Thankyou!! ❤️❤️❤️
Great video. Ahhhh Man flu I recognise that well. Really hope he gets well soon. Xx
Yes I've seen problems many times with cotton buds hope he gets that out. Well done you did get it out xx
It was a close one, really didn’t think we were gonna get it out! Xx
Great video as always man flu what a laugh 😅hope you better soon rich
Great video thank for sharing.Keep safe all 👍💖
Thankyou, you’re welcome 😊
Another fantastic family video 👍👍👏👏xx❤🌹
You are so kind, thankyou x
Hi there, Yet another brilliant video to have seen, Really enjoying watching your weekly videos and it’s so nice to see the people of Germany giving treats to the children. Thanks again look forward to seeing next week’s video take care all from me Steve here in Manchester. Little question: How’s the truck doing since replacing the batteries is the Alternator coping well no signs of weak charging to the batteries.
Great video guys
Thankyou! Glad you enjoyed it 😀
Love your family and videos.
This is lovely, thankyou x
Nice video shame about the weather.
I, too, made the experience of trying to buy something and they wouldn't accept card payment when we were in Germany last month. My sister and brother-in-law told us that it is mainly the smaller shops and they are doing it to avoid the bank charges for card transactions and some do it to fiddle the tax man a bit.
You get that a bit in the UK with smaller shops too. Weather was a bit of a shock to the system!
Shouldn’t put anything in your ear bigger than your elbow. Definitely not cotton buds however tempting
Loved the video as always!
Good stuff Tom! Hope you are well
Man flu is serious! You need complete rest and need to be looked after until it passes! 😂
Enjoying your vid as always. Like Keira I lived in West Germany in the 70,s. ( I was posted there as a soldier) The British sector which was Northern Germany. Initially I hated it as it was so different to the UK plus we were out on exercise every month lol but grew to love it. The shops, the food, the countryside and everything worked so well. One other tradition they have is, at Christmas if building a house a Christmas tree is put on the chimney.
Women don’t understand man flu, it’s women’s flu x3. Drive safely x
Yes, army story here too. My dad was in the army and we lived in Gutersloh. Glad you enjoyed the video 😀
@@Touringwiththekids thought you might have been a army brat lol. I was in Bielefeld and Detmold. Went back around 5 yrs ago to see if our old Barracks was still there. Everything had changed, it was like visiting downtown Islamabad. Shame as German culture had a lot going for it
A few years ago Germany didn't take Visa cards in supermarkets. We got to the checkout (with loads of wine, only type I drink), and we had to go through the basket and just buy the amount we could with the cash we had. Then go to a cash machine and come back to buy the rest which they had kept back for us. Why didn't you put some oil in your ear and that might have loosened it. Nordlingen one of my favourite places on romantic strasse. You should have currywurst on your sausage. Lovely
Oh no! Have to admit we’ve also had a similar experience and only been able to purchase half our shopping on the conveyor belt! Quite embarrassing isn’t it 🙈
Another great video also guys loving it 😍 xxx
Thankyou 😊
@@Touringwiththekids your welcome guys love your videos proper look forward to them xxx
You got your little glimpse into medieval times "We don't accept card payments" 🙂
😂😂😂
Amazing video as always, guys. One thing for sure.I will never use cotton buds again after watching this 😂 glad all is well now 😊 take care see you soon ❤
Aww thankyou ❤️ I’m not sure that’s gonna be the case… he’s obsessed with cotton buds, doesn’t like wet ears from a shower 😂😂
@@Touringwiththekids You can dry with a towel.Keep it safe , 🙏
Definitely nothing sligthly modern in Germany! 😂 Internet, Mobile network, EV's, Sustainable energyproduction, Glasfiber, Credit cards... none of that here! 😅
It's been great following you Rick, so sorry you're suffering from the world known "Man Flu" it's obvious this could be the last we see of you !!!
Kera you'd better learn how to drive the truck quickly nobody knows how long Rick has left, but please treat him to all he asks for, and try not to let him know just how short a life he has left, safe travels Neil
Haha brilliant 🤩 enjoyed reading this comment
Those towns were stunning places to visit, I love how the German people look after the kids. Britain could take a few lessons from them. Do you know that if new building are being built, they have to be in the same style as the buildings around them?
I’m not sure but they are all very much in keeping so I imagine they have similar conservation areas like we do in the UK x
Hello from sunny plymouth yes thanks right sunshine in plymouth maybe you should came down here to hide from the rain lol
Wow maybe we should be there instead!
Rick my doctor once told me not to put anything smaller than my elbow in my ear 👂
True story as i done the same as you 😔
Anyway lovely to see your all having a wonderful time 👍👍
Oh no! Did you go to the doctor to get it removed? I wonder how many people have also done this…
@@Touringwiththekids yep certainly did
So glad ya got that cotton bud out Rick.
Me too! I was so worried 😟
@@Touringwiththekids I bet ya were proper scary that.
I was in Berlin in Hitler's bunker when that test alert went off
i lived in Germany as a baby. my dad was in the R.A.F.
That’s cool 👌 my dad was in the army, so similar situation
Sorry did I miss it! What was the medical emergency?
cotton bud in rics ear
@@frankiemc4697, that was the side show, the main event was Ric and his epic battle with man glue!
Tempted to correct the auto-correct, but perhaps man glue shows how serious it can be!
Looks like a great place to visit, man flu is a thing lol
”Biene” is ”bee” in German if I’m not wrong and Maja is a girls name. So Biene Maja is probably a name of a bee, ”Maja the bee”.
Funny how there are still places, touristy places too, that only accept cash.
Being in such a big vehicle you’d need info for car parks. Is there no hight info etc online? Too bad to have to drive somewhere and only then realise you won’t fit.
Ahhh yes 🙌 I’ve heard of maja the bee! There were no height barriers, I just don’t think they wanted our truck in there. Frustrating because there were motorhomes just as big as ours parked up.
😂😂😂 man flu does not exist lol this is to funny I was looken it up last night then I watch your show 😂 love you guys❤
They try anything don’t they! 😂🙈
Never put anything smaller than your elbow in your ear 😂
You’re the second person to say that, had to google it. And it’s actually a thing 🙈
Well done getting that cotton wool out of your ear. Really thought you were going to end up in A&E
I thought it was going that way too!!
Man Flu... what a cruel fate! only a few survive ;-) I am suffering with you. I am curing it with fine scotch whisky ;-)
Feel better soon 🙌 good luck with your recovery 😂
That happened to my sister and she was in pain, she ended going to the doctors.
Can be quite dangerous. How did they get it out at the doctors?
They washed it out and used long tweezers medical ones.
Watching your videos is our great pleasure. Just wanted to ask you if theres any toll free roads in Germany for a 7.5 tons motorhome with the new toll collect regulation ?
Motorhomes are exempt from the tolls 🙌
@@Touringwiththekids My concern is that my motorhome is a demountable body on a 6.5 tons truck and registered as N2 vehicle.
I think you will find that most of the fairy tales you know originated in Germany. The rest will have come from Scandinavia.
Sorry my friend there is no such thing of a man flu you got a common cold if you had a flu you would know about it lack of vitamin c take care stay safe see you next week 😊
Cotton buds should never be used in ears, it is a very bad idea. If you need to clean your ears or remove wax you should use ear drops, which will soften and remove the wax.
It’s part of his after shower routine 🙈
@@Touringwiththekids A pharmacist advised me that to protect the ears when showering put vaseline on a cotton pad and place that in the ear, but don’t push it right in. The vaseline then acts as a waterproof barrier between the inside of the ear and the water. It is now known that ear buds can cause more harm than good.
@@Lynwen10 I think it has it on the box not to put in ears I don't know because I don't use them but that's what my audiologist told me x
that place looks fab and richard with his man flu all men are like that when they get flu were as we women just get on with it 😄
We have no choice hey 🙈
@@Touringwiththekids so true lol tell richard to stop benn a babay lmao 😁
They're not Aires in Germany.. they're vohn mobeel stell playz x not the correct spelling but thats how you say it.
Yes that’s it. Same thing but they call them a different name x
Kiera, you need help ... Major emergency, Ric has epic man flu and needs 3 weeks in bed, tea and biscuits every hour and sympathy for all that troubles him
Or you can poke him in the ribs each time he moans and cure him in a couple of hours!
Good luck! 😂
😂😂
Please stop using cotton buds in your ears you can do all sorts of damage your just pushing the wax in towards your ear drum you can also perforate your ear drum (poke a hole in it) ask any audiologist or ent clinic or even a GP they will all tell you ears are self cleaning it's fine to use them on the outside of your ear but please don't put them in your ear xx
Come back to the UK you're be even more pissed off rain rain rain and more rain
Has it been bad?
@@Touringwiththekidstornado in Aldershot for a start
They did right to turn you away. If you park in a coach bay. Where are the coaches supposed to park.???. In a car park perhaps.????
Funny how this is like the 4th time they've been asked to move in like 2 months and they make a big deal about it.. Every time the campsite is the issue from their POV.. What's the common denominator every time? Them.. Need to take a look at themselves
Size matters😉 If they want to have everything bigger. They should have a look at the western edge of the Atlantic.
@@danielkelly884They were hardly making a big deal about it; they mentioned it, but I never saw any big deal being made. If these little things bother you that much, then don’t watch the videos - do your health a favour. But would that potentially deprive you of a good old moan though eh??
@@danielkelly884🙄 you are rude

A little bit of fun hey 👋
