Thanks for watching! I have heard the dried leaves make a pleasant tea. I'll pass on the fruit! ;)

Omg you're brave. I hate the way those smell imagine me trying to eat one. I did not know you could eat the orange flesh part .

I enjoy an adventure but will not be eating the fleshy part again anytime soon. 🤣🤣🤣

Guys, Northeast Asians don't eat the fruit. You eat the seed ie. the nut. Eating the fruit is like eating pecan husk! They are a bit expensive Japan, but are delicious and used in stuffings with rice.

The pecan husk is a great analogy! I will be sure to try the nuts this next growing season.

What is Ginkgo like? Like a Durian wrapped around a Pistachio.

I haven't tried the seeds yet. Next on my list :)

fun fact they arent even fruits, since they are gymnosperms, the fruit is a fleshy englarged outer seedcoats, ginkgos are also the only species in its entire order

That is a fun fact! I had to look up gymnosperms which was a fun read. :)

They are pines that evolved leaves instead of needles.

@@Doom2pro ginkgos aren’t exactly pines because they aren’t in the connifer order while ginkgos are in the ginkgo order

The chemical in the fruit is a good way to end up in the hospital for eating poop fruit
