another amazing video from my favorite bss yter!! i love the format of these videos and simple graphics, it makes it easy to understand and pay attention to the commentary. the best part is that we're able to learn things!
The only reason I'm buying the belt is for the gifted bee pollen, convert amount, and capacity. I'm just 65 purple potions and 1000 tropical drinks away. It will increase my hph by at least 20% anyways.
tropical drinks will take foreverrr took me literally 3 hours of sprouts to get around ~500 trop drinks, also spent a bunch of tickets, enzymes, and oils crafting
coco belt is OK if one of ur droppers can catch the coconuts but the main thing is if u wanna utilise 100% of its potential ur gonna need all ur dropper alts all with belt and spamming coconuts. (basically impossible bcs coconuts cap out at 500)
In my opinion, it's too dependant on teamwork. It should give higher stacks whether or not it's bounced on the same field scaling with the speed it drops, making it worth it to bother going after it when it gets too fast.
It also has a bug in the kicking. I could be in the middle of the blue circle and it states I missed it. Was really hard for beesmas trying to get the amount needed for bbm. Best usage for that was to spawn in hive hub but only to get the required kicks for the quest.
Finally someone else realizes how underpowered coco belt is for its cost. I really hope onett buffs it drastically and he actually tests the new endgame bags and sprinklers so we don’t get super underpowered bags and sprinklers for insane costs
A quick take i have on what changes i kinda propose for the coconut belt: - the buff duration will only tick down when no combo coconuts exists in the server - the buff duration timer gains 0.9s duration for each stack gained(max accumulated duration from a single specific combo coconut spawn=90s) This might sound crazy broken assuming you have 3 players in a single server all with coconut belts as it may potentially allow you to rack up the buff timer to an insane duration. But that part can probably be fixed by adding a hard cap to how long can the combo coconut boost buff last for(3mins)
I did quit few weeks ago for a break or whatever and i was planning on getting it since there is nothing else i can get alr farmed 400 tropical drinks 🗿, tho i only want it due to its beautiful sound +1 bee dmg
Im honestly gonna disagree with this one. If you actually do boosts (and know how to do it properly) you would know that although the buff isn't great, its a lot better than the majority of players make it out to be, activating once every about 5 minutes without auto dropping coconuts and applying a pretty good boost that you only need to juggle up until you get the star. On top of this, it provides a 10% pollen buff and more attack, as well as more capacity and hft, might not seem like the best upgrade but it doesn't need to be. BSS never gets new items so it's not like there's a rush to get it before other items if you literally have a year before probably no new items are added anyways.
fair enough, to me though it just feels like a "spend your life savings for a small boost" and im p sure coco belts intention was to consistently give large boosts
Personally in boost I manage to go up in x40 without problem With an active freind) We have a fuzzy /guiding that gumdrops me and 4 other accounts that put gumdrop And when the passive casts you just move a gum alt of spider->straw->sun->dand->mush->spider It's complicated to succeed in all the rotations but it's doable And to be honest, fortunately the passif are complicated to increase to the maximum It would be much too strong
And in addition to solve the problem that the passive takes too long to launch, you just need friends with the coco belt to help you boost by putting gumdrop and mounting the passiAnd in addition to solve the problem that the passive takes too long to launch, you just need friends with the coco belt to help you boost by putting gumdrop and mounting the passive
@@karma-kd2vy yknow what you right but i will say it should be easier to reach the max buff simply because there was an intention to get there, id say the same thing abt scorching star, pop star and lvl 25

You only stated its potential while boosting and you still underplayed it while I helps so much in other parts of the game such as puffs and retro where the active players can easily juggle a decent combo for like 1.5x pol on avg which I’d say helps a ton. It also is better for boosting than you stated as if a player or two can’t leave a field while boost helping without being claimed to catch a few combos. You just clearly don’t know how people use it effectively, I agree the combo is flawed but it’s definitely not ‘one of the worst passives in the game’ lmfao
i wouldnt argue it helps much in retro because theres only so many bricks you can buy before you have to start focusing on mobs entirely, but i did forget to mention puffshrooms so thanks for that. Do not however tell me i "clearly dont know how people use it effectively" because if puffs is its best spot then it should be reworked to focus on more, its intention was to be used generally for everything
TFYM it doesn’t help in retro? You can easily get 100x because of the small field size which allows for considerably faster progression allowing for many more bees which can be a major difference. You also call the item expensive when it’s really not that bad, it supposed to be an endgame item and it is effectively priced maybe a touch too many purps. Most endgame players can easily get the items required so the intended price works fine. It’s also really good for boosting, I mean just look at boosting numbers even with a low stack combo could raise the honey output pretty heavily even before the buff from 1.5x pol -> 2x pol. This is because the buff of 1.5x pol with one active helper is a pretty good buff lol. if you and one helper cannot get a combo to 40-50 combo it may just be on you and your helper. So the fact that it helps almost every aspect of the game besides really attacking where it doesn’t do much but supply haste and BMS id say it’s a bit pretty versatile item. So the fact that you used pathetic as an insult to it without understanding actually how useful it is kinda makes this video suck thematically, as the main point falls flat. Maybe it makes boosting harder to do but why would that be a bad thing making a new mechanic that helps you without any challenge just powercreeps the hell out of the game lmao.
@moo999iow is there even room for helpers though? I know good red hives when boosting use two to three alts and white hives have to use four, and including the player this leaves room for only one-two helpers, but 6 players causes server lag, so white cant use any and red can only use one. For retro, the only stat I see it buffing which matters is Bee Attack, which although is good, doesn't justify the cost, lineup, and the other stats won't be used for long because there comes a point where bricks become overly expensive and you have to focus on killing the mobs during later rounds. Now, I haven't boosted in forever but I did have a helper and we managed to get to about 57x consistently, but there's an issue where when your star activates you have to focus all ur attention on honeymaking, which red has to maintain 10x focus, red boost, precision, 3 precise marks and timing duped abilities to pop, and white is similar except instead of red boosts its triangulating and aligning gummyballer on precise marks for 11x goo. And the word "pathetic" is a bit over the top sure but I did include that the coconut belt has good points. Yes I agree that there needs to be a challenge but the 100x buff should be at least somewhat obtainable in boosting, instead of having to sacrifice its max potential for other things and just needs a rework.
