I don't think the Bears want to spend as much money on safety as the first options would require, even though they would be great additions. With so many safeties being cap casualties, maybe they wait for a very cheap deal for 2 years (with only 1 guaranteed), then draft a safety next year if they feel the need is a high priority. In any case, thank as always for the great analysis.
