Great RB1, let's go! 🐻⬇️
Defs need 3 RBs in Chicago, last year proved it.
Swift by name, Swift by nature, love the way he can do everything that’s asked of him.
Great breakdown again dude.
🐻⬇️
Appreciate the love as always man🙏🐻⬇️
Nice fit, let’s go BEARS 🐻
Yessir🐻⬇️
Its like getting a swifter david Montgomery back
i really like him as a 3rd down back and a pass catcher. that’s how he should be used.
What who will start over him🤣🤣Herbert no
He rushed for over 1k yards last year and showed great instincts.
@@Snowgangtaefoe he can “start” but he really needs to be there on 3rd downs so he can be used in routes.
there is no way you feed swift the ball 20 times a games. he is so injury prone. i think Herbert or some other back will still end up with more carries than him.
he averaged 10 rushing attempts per game his entire time in Detroit and hit 15 attempts a game last year.
he should get about 10-15 with the bears.
@@brycemiller235 yaa but that’s not what he is great at.
if you can get him 10-12 carrier and 5-7 targets a game he can make a lot of plays. running him on obvious run downs is kinda stupid.
the eagles spent a 4th rounder on him and didn’t care if they broke him in half. i hope the bears are a bit smarter about his usage.
As much as i like Swift, and i do like him, we really should have just Manned up and gone after saquon.
its not a coincidence that the 3 best teams in our conference now have the 3 most talented Rbs: Cmac, Saquon & Gibbs.
Running backs matter and the these smart GM's have taken advantage of an overcorrection in the market.
A 1500 yards WR costs 17-25M a year. the same back now costs 10M. its a no brainer to try and get one.
Poles as per usual made a mistake in terms of "surplus" value judgement. He didnt draft carter last year and carter would prob cost 20-25M in FA whereas there is no way anyone is paying that much for Darnell Wright in FA.
Also, the bears still prob have the 4th best RB in the division.
Gibbs > Jacobs > Jones > Swift > Dmont
We still have the worst WR room. still have prob the 3rd worst oline and the 3rd worst QB.
So i am tempering my expectations.
Carter was supposed to go #1 overall, it’s his off field actions that will catch up to him.
Definitely not an ideal person to have in the dressing room if your teams losing.
Philly can attest to that. Down the stretch, they were historically bad.
@@raymondbrolly18499 thats carters fault?
lets not make up narratives. JC was super dominant. he was worth the gamble.
the issue is, the bears org and their fans never want to take any risks. its super weird. must be a chicago things. its prob why chicago as a city pretty much peaked 40 years ago. its why miami, austin, SF, LA and several other cities are out growing it.
all i ever hear from chicago people are why things are too risky. you dont hear that from LA people. you take risks on greatness, whether that building a super company, writing a screenplay, going after the the love of your life.
anyways, i'll get off my soap box now.
😂oh just wait till he gets behind this bunch of revolving doors we call an offensive line. He will have a 2.9 yards per carry . I'm so tired of people saying Poles is doing a great job
Bears overall last year averaged 4.6 yards a carry. Poles added Ryan Bates to the Line Depth and will for sure add more in the draft to the line. Run Game was never a problem plus Swift adds more to the offense as a receiver and in general being an explosive athlete. Poles is doing a good job at building through the draft and not overspending in FA. If you want big FA signings for too much money go be a Jags Fan you see what it brought them? Exactly nothing. Stay patient and trust the process.
F the Chiefs. The Bears got their own Swifty.
Justin Fields is the QB until further notice can you stop the disrespect. If we draft Caleb Williams then go crazy. If we don't draft Caleb your videos are going to sound really crazy.
You tell me to stop the disrespect? I mention that IF the Bears go the route with Caleb he's a nice addition as well. That's a small side sentence in a 10 min video. I hate the Fields Caleb discussion and I'm not milking that for content at all please don't make me one of these youtubers and look through my channel man🐻⬇️I have an opinion on both Justin and Caleb and we as fans literally don't have control over what happens. So for me I'm just staying patient and I wait what happens man. These videos are about the new acquisitions, not Justin or Caleb
Extremely happy with the contract and the player. Him and Roschon will be amazing taking reps. I've always thought Herbert is just between ok and good.
but in many ways roschon is even worse than herbert. did RJ make 1 play last year?
@shake6321 There were plays earlier in the season where he looked really good and was trucking people. Even after the first game of the year I thought he was better than Herbert even with limited reps. They barely used him once Foreman started though so hopefully he gets more time this year
@@OsamaBeenFartin69 he isnt fast. he isnt shifty. when he tries to run with power he gets injured. he's prob not even as good as david montgomery and montgomery is super mid.
i guess he is an ok back/rotational dude.
i'll give him the benefit of the doubt being a rookie. i was never really a roschon guy but i can see why people like a good all around RB. I just dont see what he is great at?
speed running? nope
power running? nope
catching? nope
3rd down back? nope
@@shake6321ain’t no way you just called Montgomery “super mid” 😭 didn’t he make the pro bowl? And he was one of the best running backs this season
@@oneboxboi1091
did he? who knows. who cares. Mitch trubisky made a pro bowl.
mid = middle of the pack.
montgomery is not better than 14 running backs in the nfl.
There are 21 RB's i'd rather have than Dmont. and thats before this draft where 2 or 3 more will come out.
he is a solid RB but the definition of "Mid"
