It's the rush of air .have someone stand out side back by engine. They will hear it. Look in the mirror for thier signal. Stop the clock 3 minutes or less ,Less is better
I ABSOLUTELY AGREE WITH THE AIR BRAKE CDL Add-on test and LEARNING IT. Hands down; ANYONE with a diesel pusher should study that and LEARN how your air brakes work. If your Lucky, you have full air brakes. And if your unlucky like Jeff and I, you have something called Air-Over-Hydraulic brakes; which is a whole different Frankenstein combination of slap it together manufacturing. And there is a Whole different methodology of driving with those which you tend to find out on your first downhill run.

Where do you hear the blow off? I have never heard that but maybe it’s just because I am hard of hearing.
