You were saying about your cnc running off track and you weren't sure why
I've had this happen a couple of times in the past and it took a long time to realise what was happening
And with my machine it turned out to be the very fine dust being crested when machining MDF
I've not had it happen with any other material
    Well not yet
    Good video and great content
    Before I forget

Thank you. I've actually had it happen a couple of times recently, and I think it's that I need to perform some maintenance and clean my rails and ball screws. Also, someone mentioned a static electricity discharge on my dust removal, which is a possibility.

@SothpawDesigns I cured mine buy never cutting MDF without a dust boot on
And as you said a bit more maintenance
      I've just upgraded mine from a 40/40 to a 40/80
The new bed and waste board set up seams to be a lot more robust

So to throw out some more tools I wind up using alot with the cnc. Super cheap harbor freight orange picks and the razor knives at the checkout. They maybe be cheap and not great, but sooooo good for doing the little bits of cleanout

Great video. I heard the next Vectric update will have a vcarve inlay option.

Also, if you think the air cooled spindle is quiet, you should hear how quiet a water cooled spindle is. It’s crazy quiet.

Thinking of getting this same CNC setup and adding it to my garage shop but need to keep the dust level down, does the shop vac attached really get all the dust and fine particles ?

The Dewalt shop vac that i use actually actually does a decent job. The dust boot that I got from PWN CNC has a little to be desired. If you have a good dustboot, then in my opinion, a shop vac goes a long way

What is the masking material called? Said it was in the description, but I don’t see it.
