Gotta love the way he sets up the straight left hand, uses to pawing jab to throw off Amagasa and changing angles; then gets back in position to retain balance. He split the guard effectively with the left; he was too agile and tricky for the opponent; and very slick with the straight left hand counter. Rigo just had the perfect balance to throw uppercuts and hook off it in combinations, beautiful boxing. And great stoppage, Amagasa was hanging on in there but Rigo was too good.

But you gotta wonder this was Amagasas only fight at 122 and he aint a small 126er so how much steam did the weight cut take off of him? Chavez jr. was much larger than Canelo but he was so drained it didnt mean as much.

It's fights like these where you see the beauty and the technique of a style Rigo possesses... it's what made me a fan of Rigo, his fight vs Teon Kennedy was something else aswell... disappointed in his fight with Loma though.

Joseph Galvez Rigo has a very long reach for his height....about 3 inches longer than Loma. Problem is, Rigo is surprisingly easy to knock down and stun. Plus he's 3 years older now

Lol, first knockdowm was just a lose of balance not acual damage. He was hit hard later, and second knockdown was a throw😂
First knockdown was a solid clip on the button, second knockdown was a punch on the inside, Rigo´s legs were gone and on his way down he tried to grab Amagasa and hold himself up but got pushed off.

Amazing. Rigo basically toys and spars for 7 rounds, gets caught and dropped, then goes up a gear and disfigures Amagasa's face and almost kills him. Ridiculous.
Keep in mind that Amagasa is probably weighing around 145-155 in ring, while Rigo is at like 123. Amazing.
