I like the exterior of rugged green one, but for interior I like the stylish white. That would be really nice if MB will allow for customization of those trucks for buyers like more survival preppers concept of anything one can imagine.
Merc just published the price: starts at 37 294 Euros. 6000,- more than a comparable Nissan! In Germany and Europe by end of 2017. In early 2018 available in Australia and South Africa. In 2019 in Argentina and Brasil. Two 4-cylinder Diesels by Nissan: 163hp and 190hp. 165hp petrol engine. V6 Diesel by Mercedes by mid 2018. Patience, friends! :-)
Hell yeah, a diesel Benz pickup!!! I've waited 54 years for this damned thing. Don't tell me I can't get one in the USA. DON'T TELL ME THAT SHEIITE!!!!!!
I'm from Peru and to me it does make sense not to introduce this pick up to the US because of the size ... in the US they are much more used to big size pick ups as the RAM or the F150 and if this pick up has being built over the platform of the Nissan Navara it is not going to be as big and "confortable" as the other ones in the US where "the size matters" ... but depending on the success in Australia, Russia and Latin america they will go for a bigger X for the US market.
pick ups are part of Europe s, not only by many types of companies, but not so long ago, in rural parts of some European countries, they were the workhorses, and on the poorer regions they were basically the only car of the family used for everything
although that piaggio is an absolute icon, no, i meant the pick ups that filled the rural parts of many if not most European countries (although some photos are not from Europe, these were some of the pick ups) upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e5/Peugeot-504-Pickup.jpg upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/41/Argentine_Peugeot_404_U_pick-up.jpg www.bustopia.com/Images/SingleCab20c.jpg upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5b/1989_Nissan_Navara_(D21)_DX_2-door_cab_chassis_(2011-04-22).jpg image.shutterstock.com/z/stock-photo-chiangmai-thailand-july-private-old-pickup-car-nissan-or-datsan-photo-at-road-296981126.jpg exactly because they were on the rural regions, its not known by many Europeans, but they were common
Talked to the Mercedes trucks manager about V8: He was not convinced. But the guy was head of AMG before - so he probably has some other ideas for pumping up the X-Class!
i like soooo much the off-road version i would change the rear tailgate don't like it but i think is just a concept here , and i hope they will keep the front grill is amazing, really disappointed for the nissan/renault engine ,if i want a Nissan i buy a Nissan, and when i buy Mercedes i expect to find a Mercedes engine in it
Its ok for a start in appearance but, iMO the Ram 1500 longhorn turbo ecodiesel 4x4 forest green black is the best truck on the market the ecodiesel offers 28MPG and with the speed of the Hemi is achieved with the 8 speed trans is a perfect fit this is my 3 rd Longhorn every 2 years I would trade out of the Hemi but the ecodiesel is fantastic 4x4 is better with diesel low maintenance and the truck is comfortable and solid after 30,000 miles it still looks and feels like the first day no odor with def fluid and I like the quite ride on the hwy and sound of diesel at idle with the window also like the knob for drive vs stick more room to put stuff a must is the 392 gear not the 355 the 355 is real jerky 392 smooth in stop and go traffic.
I m mercedes lover ,owner a mercedes c class 350 estate v6 , great engine , got a pickup Nissan Navara great , not sure about the Renault engine , don't think is god to use Renault engine . But for sure I'm gone change my Navara for a new pickup mercedes x 350 v6 no doubt . Locks American pickup top. not much appeal the ugly middle screen hope they change .
Great Premiere-Report, great Pickups! Even if they are "midsize" ;-) I want that Macho-Man-Version. Please with an Macho-Man-Engine.
Any girls in here with thoughts about this car? ;-)

Hi there down under! Thank u for sharing this vid!
I really don't need one but I absolutely do want one.
My favorite is the Macho-Version.
What does your wife think about it? ;-)
Warum hab ihr den nicht auf DIE G Klasse gebaut sonst echt Top
Vermutlich kostet ein G-Klasse-Untergestell 3 Euro mehr als das Nissan-Chassis ;-)
Hmmm a Merc pickup truck in Upstate, NY would be nice. I got stuff to haul and there 3-4 months of snow here.
I like the exterior of rugged green one, but for interior I like the stylish white. That would be really nice if MB will allow for customization of those trucks for buyers like more survival preppers concept of anything one can imagine.
I hope the production one will look a lot like the macho version, only if that happens, I will buy one.
Please make some for us. I can assure u it will be the best seller for us.
I'll let Mr. Zetsche know, next time I see him ;-)

pick ups are part of Europe s, not only by many types of companies, but not so long ago, in rural parts of some European countries, they were the workhorses, and on the poorer regions they were basically the only car of the family used for everything
You mean the Piaggio Ape? ;-)
although that piaggio is an absolute icon, no, i meant the pick ups that filled the rural parts of many if not most European countries (although some photos are not from Europe, these were some of the pick ups) upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e5/Peugeot-504-Pickup.jpg upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/41/Argentine_Peugeot_404_U_pick-up.jpg www.bustopia.com/Images/SingleCab20c.jpg upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5b/1989_Nissan_Navara_(D21)_DX_2-door_cab_chassis_(2011-04-22).jpg image.shutterstock.com/z/stock-photo-chiangmai-thailand-july-private-old-pickup-car-nissan-or-datsan-photo-at-road-296981126.jpg
exactly because they were on the rural regions, its not known by many Europeans, but they were common
i guess it was more of a situation sort of, most people had an uncle who had one of these, although nowadays they re rare i think
Especially for tx usa
I absolutely will buy one. I would however like an extended cab with more rear legroom and a 4 liter V8 diesel.
Talked to the Mercedes trucks manager about V8: He was not convinced. But the guy was head of AMG before - so he probably has some other ideas for pumping up the X-Class!
Please build this car for Asian market.
Can't Wait To Ship Merc Pick Up Trucks To Zimbabwe, Nigeria And UAE1!$
Is this business idea for free? ;-)
colour reminds me of a storm trooper
May the force be with you!

You'll find a Mercedes-engine in there, made in Germany. But only the top-of-the-line V6...!
hdluca1 you are definitely right buying a Mercedes means buying the heart of Mercedes the engine

i like a green matte, but not come in malaysian...
Well! I like the Look of it and I want one but they not going to bring it the U,S, so I will get the TiTan Warrior instead.

Hi Rui! Let us know when you got it! Unfortunately, it's gonna take some more time ... ;-)
Sorry but ugly design for me
No matter whether the elegant or the macho-version?
