- Today we install catless mid pipes on my Set Pack Charger from Stainless Works and Modern Muscle Extreme some would say it's way too loud but this thing sounds and runs like an absolute beast with no CEL thanks to the O2 stand offs. Did you do this AFTER a mid muffler delete? If yes, is it louder than just a mid muffler delete? I am straight piped from the cats back, but wanting it to be even louder.

Great video. I totally agree. My 2006 5.7 Hemi ran so much better with catless mid-pipes, long-tube headers, flow master exhaust, and a custom tune. Eventually want to do the same thing to my 392 scat pack. Thanks.

Add a set of longtubes and it will be obnoxiously loud. I have that on my 08 6.1 hemi. And just bullet mufflers no resonators. And she is loud but sounds amazingly well. Tunnels i tap down to 1st and lay into it with windows down and it makes my ears ring

Ok so I have a mid-muffler delete right now, so when u installed this catless mid pipe, did u leave the resonators and that butterfly valve at the end of the exhaust on?
Yup the active exhaust valves and black canisters in rear are still on the car!

Get rid of those canister resonators and put some quality performance mufflers back in the middle again, straightpiped out from there with no resonators. Flowmaster Super HP2s for example or louder. You're listening to your Hemi through cheap ass stock cans dude. Remedy that. You WILL be happier yet with your sound. Listen to a bunch of muffler comparisons on youtube first...get the exact right one.

Hemifam thanks I just looked into it and there’s a JBA option for me and shorty heads. Pretty much the same, I might install this on my challenger rt 6speed. How do you get around smog in Cali? Lol that’s why I’m considering this over long tubes cause the strict emissions laws here. Seemed easier to switch the mid pipe back to stock need be or if I have emissions trouble. Gosh NO it absolutely GAINED power it’s like an entirely new car it’s amazing how restrictive the cats are!

Hemifam did the check engine light come on after u removed the cats because I know there are oxygen sensors on them
Cat delete gains power( about 10whp average) and fuel economy goes up average of 2mpg highway cruising steady.
This is true 99% all cars/trucks on the road. Downside it's illegal and won't pass inspection. Visual inspection or OBDII scanned state inspections. A custom tune turns off the CEL but it shows up in inspection of emissions as "code not ready/code off" and it's obvious. But, "for off road track use" (you happy EPA?) the car IS faster and better mpg. Exhaust fumes will STINK idling at redlights, drive thru and garages big time. But smells FANTASTIC when you run 100 octane or higher fuel. 👍 Oh and on a white car bumpers turn black from soot all the time by exhaust tips big time, like annoyingly so.

I actually had to order the Vibrant O2 stand offs after the install which is why they were not installed in video and so far no tune and well over 500 miles and no CEL! 🙌🏻
