Yes, you should be able to work this in the round! You'll work the outside graft and then likely need to cut the yarn and work the inside graft separately.
Thank you the details are very clear. I'm trying to put together the top of mittens knitted in one on one rib. The instructions simply say do Kitchener stitch. The fun part will be figuring out how to do the second set of needles and turn the mittens inside out to do the second row of stitching. Because your instructions are so detailed I'm going to try it
Interesting. I have used Kitchener stitch numerous times when joining stocking stitch ie sock toes but did not fully understand the offset until your demonstration.
Thank you, this is exactly what I needed! Your attention to the details and the close up filming is extremely helpful.
I'm so glad it was helpful for you!
@@HeatherStortaoh! One more thing, can this be used in the round as well? I have a ribbed headband I would like to use this for. Thank you!

Your demonstration is amazing. The result is perfect. It seems to be a bit tricky but I'll try with a swatch. Thank you, Heather.
It is a bit tricky, but when you need it to look good it's totally worth it!
Brilliant. I’ve been looking all afternoon for this. Thanks so much.
Glad I could help!

If you use circular needles it might be easier to turn them inside out for the second half of the graft! Good luck!!
You are a wonderful instructor- this is do clear 💛

It's not noticeable in stockinette (except at the edges) so many knitters don't realize it happens, until you go to graft a different stitch pattern!
Excellent thank you
