THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!!! I’m a visual learner, and have searched endlessly for a video demonstrating how to graft 2 color Brioche. I truly appreciate all the hard work and effort that you put into creating advanced techniques for 2 color Brioche ❤
I'm so glad you found it helpful! It works best when you have a provisional cast on so that the bottom of a row of stitches lines up with the top of the other row. Depending on the construction of your sweater it may or may not be ideal for an underarm.
May I ask how you're knitting your edge sts? I'm trying to get a seamless edge, but then having trouble grafting those edge sts. I'm doing a provisional co, one color fisherman's rib, knitting first st and slipping last st pw wyif. Should your grafting method still work with this?
I'm glad you got it figured out! In case anyone else has the same question, my edges in this tutorial are single color slip stitch edges. That means that with color A (pink) I'm always slipping the first stitch of the row and knitting (RS) or purling (WS) the last stitch of the row. If you have a different edge, you can still use this grafting technique, but you may need to adjust your setup stitch to match your project.

This is genius! Thank you so much! I'm making a bottom up raglan and couldn't work out what to do with the underarm whilst trying to keep it neat. 😻
