My grandfather passed away November in 2019 at McLeod Hospital in Florence SC. He was surrounded by his wife children and me one of his 19 grandchildren. We played this song and Jesus came and took him by the hand when this song was playing at the very end of the song last beat he looked up and know he was in heaven. What a mighty God we serve.
These are the songs that’s missing in most churches today. We must get back to these old faithful songs that spoke words of power!

Went to see my brother yesterday and sang this song to him. The Alzheimer's has taken a lot from him but I got to hear that old laugh and got an "Oh yeah!" out of him. For a few seconds I had my big brother back.

This was my Middle Brother 's , one of his Main Funeral Songs...He Loved the Lord. Suffered with Cancer for 3 yrs. I miss him so. But know will all be together one Day Again...🙏🏼✝️👩🌾

My Dad would be 95 yrs old today. Missing him so much. He passed away in 2016. I grew up listening to bluegrass. My family is from Eastern KY.
I miss my parents and sister that have gone on ahead of me. I live each day for God. I'm so thankful for the wonderful parents and childhood. My children are grown and living their lives. I love and my grandbabies. I pray for each of them.
My husband and I are empty nesters I guess they call it.

I’m from up here In Ottawa Ontario Canada and I love country gospel music and songs. Don’t have much gospel up here. Only every now and then. My wife and I traveled extensively in the south east and went to local churches of a Sunday enjoying the services and warm welcomes we received after those services. HE WAS MY BIG BROTHER...and He looked after his Little Sister as He did For So Many Others over the years. Our Grandmas and Mama and Daddy too. This made me think of my parents. I miss them, but I know they are in paradise. This is a wonderful rendition of this song.
I remember singing this wonderful song at a camp meeting in Yorkshire. There were about a thousand of us singing it and we were all rejoicing until the preacher stood up and said, "For some of us!" He then went on to preach an excellent sermon on the vital necessity of sharing the gospel. It was partially through that sermon that I became a missionary. Not all sermons need to make us feel good. Some of the best make us feel bad as they cause us to face up to reality.

Right ?! I was blessed to grow up as a girl knowing that any decent man will appreciate me just fine, in all the right ways and all the more, for dressing modestly and appropriately. I haven't always accomplished that perfectly, by any means ( very little $ or time to shop, poor selection at stores near me, esp. in the late 90s ( everything was a mini skirt !) - I couldn't sew decently and mom had no time then - difficult size and shape to fit in some ways, and fluctuating weight and water retention, and an extremely busy family dairy farm, meant whatever was clean, m/l fit and was necessary for the weather and occasion, is what I wore, later regretting some choices that were just too tight or whatever). Anyways ( sorry! ), not just because I was raised (in mostly unspoken ways ) to know better and to be very wholesome and modest, I also totally understood the idiocy of thinking one should provacatively to be liked, respected, popular or attract a good man. " If you got it, flaunt it ! " was increasing bandied about in the 2000s, while yet any girl who dressed the slightest bit skimpier than they, girls would call a skank ! How dare the men ogle them or want them for their body mainly, yet that's what they were totally showing off ! Not even attractively, to me, with over-tight, super short "dresses" .... they don't even look pretty, they look obvious, awkward and pathetic ! I admit the in-between sexy clothing does/can make one look very attractive, but those, no ! Yet I'm looked down upon by those women for dressing modestly, and felt embarrassed at that wedding... . My husband reassures me that "modest is hottest" , plus he thinks I'm the most beautiful woman in tbe whole world who ever lived ( he's nuts ) :) .
