    I do a lot of shipspotting in NY/NJ, currently the busiest port in the US. The traffic has been crazy but is now significantly easing. Keep in mind the larger the ships, the less ports they can get into.

    • @WeAreThePeople1690
      @WeAreThePeople1690 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Most big ports around the world are all extending to a size that accommodates these size of ships. Once they are all able to get them in, the ship builders will build them bigger again, and the cycle will continue.

    • @ExtraordinaryView

      @@WeAreThePeople1690 You're right, and that's the very long cycle. Either need more ships or bigger ships or both. No way around it given the large portion of goods that are shipped this way.

    The inflexion of the sentence @01:13 sounds as if the Bahamas had any shipyard with the capacity of building such a vessel.
    And I also doubt that its operators or shipping line even had a susidiary located in the Bahamas. I think they merely registered their vessel there under a _flag of convenience_ .

      215,000 ICE vehicle fires in the US last year, 52 EV fires 🤔 hardly “all the time”. Those ICE fires equated to 15% of all recorded fires in the States verses the 0.02% for EV’s. Studies in the US also proved an ICE vehicle is 100x more likely to catch fire than an EV… Hate on them all you like but the facts outweigh the myths and don’t lie.
      As for the ship fire, Google the cause, and to the comment below of it says zero emissions on the side… No it doesn’t, it says “zero emissions in port” a huge difference.
      As I say, don’t believe the hype. People can’t spout the media lies then use the media as evidence that EV’s are dangerous 😂 can’t have it both ways folks.
