I'm a huge Bauhaus fan, and love Tones On Tail, and Rockets, but this seems to just be a cash grab. I don't blame Ash or Haskins in any way for wanting to make some money and have some fun, but the ticket prices are ridiculous for what amounts to them playing old stuff, without having the full members of their respected bands. Kinda weird. But, in this messed up day and age where artists can't make any money due to fans stealing their music, it's hard to really fault them. That all being said, I'm not very thrilled. Now, give me some Bauhaus tour dates with Peter and David, and I will gladly spend my money. But for this? Nah.
It's Tones on Tails with a different bassist , They play 80% of tones on tails some Love & Rockets and one song of Bauhaus at 35$ i think it's worth it , if you're a fan .
jean luc Nah. Not really worth it. Last time I checked, tix were going for 80+ US dollars per. The vids I seen and heard didn't exactly impress. I seen Love And Rockets several times already in the past, and feel satisfied I seen them live. No need for me to shell out any more cash for Ash and Haskins doing some (not too rehearsed) old Tones On Tail, and Rockets songs, with a substandard bassist stand-in, isn't my idea of money well spent. That being said, I am a fan of the Stones too. But ask me if I would spend a wad of money to watch a band of walking corpses far from their prime, at this stage. (Spoiler: I wouldn't)
Scary Eyeball. You see here the tickets are 35$ . i wasn't sure about going but it's my freind birthday and oi've managed to reunated other freinds who were huge fans of Tones on Tails, so even if the show is so so we'll have some good times. I know it's gonna be nothing compare to a Love & Rockets or Bauhaus show. At 80$ i understand why the videos of the shows in the states shows such little crowds
Their music still sounds tight though and I wouldn't mind going to a Poptone's gig for 35 dollars! I just paid 35 € to see Peter Murphy featuring David J just last Saturday night here in Lisbon (Portugal) and it was worth every cent!
