He timed it... But wesker was having alittle too much fun with alice amd so he slightly forgot alice also knew and so that's why she said please wait amd thank you amd all that.. just enough time for it to be too late for wesker. He WAS using super speed it just still wasnt enough
Wesker just took away half of the plot armor from alice, still a satisfying moment Alice receiving a beatdown for those who are sick and tired of Alice's boring invincible hero antics and mary sue behavior.
Not really removed, she still survived head first on a plane crash against a mountain & managed to beat a God-like ( Wesker ) being with the assistance of 2 other humans. Look at the ridiculous shit Alice did like brutally murdering a whole army of heavily-geared men, & now look at the poor performance a 'supposed advanced' form of enhancement did against 3 people, all while having the assistance of 2 zombie dogs and that producer guy.

Oh course due to the actress being married to the guy who made this sorry excuse of a movie is considered as a "creators favorite" (it's a term where a character is loved and given a lot of focus by the creator, but is hated by the audience often because of the focus they're given.)
Late reply, but that's exactly the reason I searched out this scene. She's spent four movies constantly one-upping everybody, and on top of being overpowered, she also had an insufferable amount of plot armor. So damn right it was satisfying to see her on the receiving end for once

Liking the movies doesn't make anyone less of a fan or a person. As i always tell people, there are gonna be those who like the films regardless of what other feel about them, it is what it is.
Not just gamers, its full of stupid plotholes like her surviving this crash, Wesker despite having the T Cell enhancements still being beaten by 3 people who should have slightly-above human reaction speed at best, Its beyond dumb. He also had the assistance of 2 mutant-zombie dogs and that producer. Ridiculous.

Like the fights with Chris and Claire didn't have to be ripped off from Resi 5 and could've done some all-new choreography, or the fight scene between Alice and ADA. They could have made it less predictable than the encounter from Resi 4. Not only are the plotholes a problem, but most of the scenes had lazy written all over it.
I haven't played any of the resident evil games until recently last year I played biohazard, and to be honest I liked it all the way till number three, number one was like a horror flick, number two was like a city/action horror flick, number three is where things got stupid because she started doing all these powers and crap. On afterlife I only like the Wesker fights at the end, I don't care what anybody says that action with the badass background music had me wanting to look up this guy in the games.into my surprise they did a pretty good depiction of him, it's the rest of the movie that went off the rails. Then I found out Alice didn't even exist in the games and she basically took the spotlight of the actual characters 😂😂😂

I like Wesker a bad ass villain on the games, so it should be on the movies, and id love to have a Wesker vs Alice in the end of the movies, but this time on a bad ass fight, like the one that Alice had with Jill Valentine on Rteribution, but even better ;) i hope it happens...
I never understand why she never pulls the needle out right away instead of just leaving it in her neck for a full 29 seconds. Also, anybody get the feeling that this is the real Alice that died in this explosion and the Alice that we see for the rest of the series is actually one of the other clones?
Ducttapestuff I thought the real Alice died in the chopper crash after the bombing of Raccoon City in Apocalypse? I think that would have begun the cloning process.

damn his death scene was so anti climatic in the most recent movie. They barely interacted which made no sense to me cause revenge on him was a big part of what motivated her to go through all that trouble in the first place. I just finished the 5th R.E. movie and I think Afterlife was way better than Retribution. I also liked the music in movie #4 better than the music in movie #5. PLUS, Wesker is barely even in the 5th movie!
Game Wesker would have made it back to the cockpit without difficulty. *Face palms.* I seriously tried to like these movies. But the flaws just outweigh any desire too; A few memorable scenes don't make up for a line of shitty movies.

I agree. Everytime they used one of the original characters from the game in the movie, they seemed like poor sloppy cosplayers. You can't just do that. In the Degeneration movie, Leon didn't look as badass as he was in the games, but he was acceptable some how. But this. This is just stupid. I also loved that scene. First worth thing in the series.
