Perhaps, I treated you too harshly.
0:58 Thumbs up if you came here after watching Netflix's Resident Evil Show and wanted to watch a proper (but not perfect) Wesker character.
I’ve actually grown to like how they did the fight choreography from RE5. It was a great use of the source material and Shawn did a great performance as Wesker. The costuming for him is pretty good too.
❤
Yep! They did so well in this scene. Arguably one of the highlights in all the movies.
After seeing the Netflix version this is a masterpiece in comparison. This is faithful to the games to a decent amount at least. And Netflix Wesker doesn’t have a banger rock song to accompany him.
These were actually good compared to the new movie and Netflix series😭😭
New movie?

1:24 all I see is Chris and Wesker Practicing to do Jill in resident evil 3 Dodge Push & Chris Teching throws
And Wesker doing Backflip Matrix and Chris Practing his marksmanship shooting
0:48
That line in the context of the movies makes no sense since Wesker had never met Chris till right now. The scriptwriter just wanted to adlib that line in from Resident Evil 5 due to it releasing around the time of the movie.
I love how he gets shot at and then dodges the bullets after they're already fired.
Sure... Super Saiyan speed and Neo from the Matrix speed fast enough to dodge bullets from a semi-automatic pistol and look like a blur, but manages to get a scratch in the face from a flying knife platter kicked off from a table and a shotgun blast to the head by Alice. Logic.
I love how after Wesker gets stabbed there’s a perfectly open window for Chris to shoot him while he’s pulling out the knife but he just decides not to

This is borderline experimental!

I was looking for this comment. lol
i love this because it's a perfect execution of a completely insane creative vision.
agreed
I have never seen a Resident Evil movie but I am grateful to this scene for giving us one of Red Letter Media's best videos
I'll never unsee that bit of drool from Chris when he's yelling for claire in the tube. Once you see it you will never not.
I wanna catch it and slurp it 😊
The netflix series makes this look like LOTR

This wesker better then netflix lol
Idc what anyone says. Having The Outsider in the movie soundtrack was one of the best things about this movie
Its sad when the first crappy movies are better than the new ones
I’ll be honest I enjoyed these movies; right up until I started playing the games.
How do they screw up so much?
Everyone can appreciate the RE5 scene cloned in this fight over the entire "Resident Evil" Netflix garbage show. *Woosker* is slightly vindicated
The special effects of Wesker dodging bullets look something out of a fanmade movie
"chris and clair redfield, you've really become quite an inconvenience for me" Dude literally just met chris and probably had nothing to do with clair. It worked in the game because that chris had history with wesker
I would give my life to get a good series of resident evil movies, the potential they have is crazy
Say what you will about these movies, but I enjoyed scenes like this where they played homage to the games almost identically.
❤
0:06 error! a knife is missing ..
Wesker went from a villain captain America can't beat to one he can beat with his eyes closed
Prefer the resident evil 5 version
Of Chris vs whekser? Why?
@StealthyArcher1 of both, the film version just felt cringe, I know some of the older resident evil games are a bit cringe but I dunno just feels different and somewhat entertaining, this is just embarrassing lmao.

Wesker: you should've brought more.

I like the idiots in the comments whom don’t know that Wesker had ultra speed before the Matrix was out , He’s a video game character.
Not true. That started in the X version of Code Veronica which was a year after The Matrix.

You can thank Maynard for that A Perfect Circle is fucking amazing
Hate how they overused slow downs just to make the fight feel longer than it actually is. At least the guy who played as wesker did a great job playing his role.
After playing resident evil 5, they actually used a lot of the dialogue lines for wesker and a lot kf the key points and whatnot.
3:36 I understand he wants to become melee fighters but Shelly is super boom ha ha
I'm starting to think that alice Re Movies are better than the RE : WTRC and RE : Netflix with Blade . 😂
I can't unhear the laughter of Rich Evans.
Honestly Claire wesker and jill were casted good in this
*1:21** Chris Redfield tackled Albert Wesker.*
Reference to *Resident Evil 5 (2009 video game)* - Chris Redfield tackled Albert Wesker and *Resident Evil: Vendetta (2017 animated film)* - Chris Redfield tackled Glenn Arias.
In movies, when will they learn "Aim for where your Moving Target is going to be (relatively and hypothetically)" not actually?...
“As I do this completely gay backflip ten feet in the air, please keep firing at eye level.”
In RE5 Wesker moves so fast it actually looks like he is teleporting, so the best you can do is aim and shoot where he is. :P
@@DarthDragon007 or just randomly spree. I mean, if you don't know what you are doing, hiw is your enemy supposed to be?

I like how the Redfields and Wesker clearly have a rivalry, but it doesn't make sense because it's all been the Alice-show up to this point.

While the movies are not great, i must admit that they are easily in top 10 of my favorite series

I love the futuristic way of the visuals going, these movies will remain ahead of its time
