Glendale Fire Battalion 2, Truck 21 & Burbank Fire Battalion 1

- Clips 1, 2 & 3: Glendale Fire Department Battalion 2, Truck 1 & Burbank Fire Department Battalion 2 responding / arriving on scene of a structure fire in 26's area.
Units Due: Battalion 2, Engine 21, Engine 22, Engine 24, Engine 25, Engine 26, Truck 21, Truck 26, BLS 26, Burbank Battalion 1 & Glendale PD.
Engine 26 got on scene and reported an apartment complex with heavy smoke showing and requested two additional engines. Engines 22 & 25 were added.

That tiller sure is nice looking! Loving these Pierce Quantums I must say. Also nice to see a marmalade yellow tiller for Truck 26 there. Will be spotting at both these stations!
Also two very nice battalions and on scene footage. Didn't expect to see a Toyota.
That Station 21 is huge! What's it like for buffing?
Truck 26 was in a reserve in this video and has one of the Quantum trucks like Truck 21 and 29, I'd love to catch it soon, though. Station 21 is honestly great for buffing. It's huge and pretty busy. Glendale Fire is dispatched from a company called Verdugo who also dispatches 13 other cities including Pasadena and Burbank, these are called the Verdugo Cities. Upstairs at Station 21 is the Verdugo dispatch center. When you come, I advise setting up and appointment to get a tour, I have yet to do so.

I missed that battalion twice when I was up there. I never knew what burbanks BC looked like, I'm honestly a little disappointed

thanks bud! Burbank isn't at all far from Glendale so they sent Battalion 1 & 2.
Burbank, Glendale and Pasadena, along with nine other cities, are part of the Verdugo communications system. They share dispatch and resources like they're all part of one big department, so the closest rigs are sent regardless of city borders. A second alarm and higher will bring the next closest BC.
