Nice
As a metal head... I can see this being a nasty breakdown.
Yesss
Now it just needs to be played on the low string of a 8 string guitar and you got yourself some djent
While totally readable as is, it would be a lot easier if you made it clear where each quarter note is with appropriately notated rests 👍
Oh I totally agree, but I intentionally write rhythms in unusual ways sometimes because in real life reading situations it’s not always written in the most ideal way 😆
Nah, you won't always see things written nicely for you. This was fine
I'm so glad I subscribed to this channel, for the first time in my life, I'm really paying attention to these exercises to improve my sight reading and also improving my understanding of RHYTHMS!!! Thank you!
Thanks for the reminder that I suck at reading rhythm... We practise!
To be fair though this is not an easy one 😂
Dammit! That’s a toughie!
Watch at 2x speed
Sounds like the paper with bubbles to pop
i did a tribal dance with this. thanks!
That’s a KILLER!!! (But I love it.)
Finally, a worthy opponent

Great content , would it be possible to put reading along like 1eaA etc it will help beginners like me thanks
Sounds like smth from Dillinger Escape Plan
Make sure your closing the hi-hat on that bell click when playing this!!!
I half expected to start hearing the rhythm to cbat
CBAAAAAAAAT
I do not detect the cbat
Talk about syncopation 🤯🤯
sibelius midi activated
I’m just here going “why the fuck did you put the stems down” 😂
I vary the stem direction from video to video
@@SightReadDrums k
@@CarlDaCool168 is it not supposed to be down?
@@Abhar12 maybe you are somewhere else where this is comment but I am a drumset player as well as a concert snare drum player in school. All the music has snare drum, toms, and cymbals with stems up, and bass drum stems down
@@CarlDaCool168 lol I play violin so usually a G (lowest note) to A stems are down while from B to whatever the highest note is, the stems are up.
Sounds like a slice of life anime op
グレート!
I FOUND U HHEHEE
Lmao I’m reminded why I suck at reading music
Well this one is pretty hard 😆 Keep practising!
Bruh our marching show is at 168, 160 ain't fast anymore

It's supposed to be 8th 8th 8th-break 8th 8th 8th 8th-break 8th. There is no quarter note.
actually you made a lot of mistakes.
who the heck taught you how to write music 😂
@@havardmj Not mistakes - I intentionally write like that sometimes because in real life it's not always written nicely 😆
