    Might get a chance to come to Edinburgh to work and I am looking for videos that I could listen to and get accustomed to the local accent. I have a question: is the accent of this gentleman a good representation of the local accent that I will be encountering?

    Mary was not crowned queen of Scotland - she was queen of scots

    • @farnorthweaver7793
      @farnorthweaver7793 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, that is true about Mary, queen of scots. What is also true, is that the Stone of Destiny is Not from Scotland. It was brought to Argyll in Alba/Scotland, by Fergus mor MacEarca, he was from the Kings of Ulster, )his grandfather being Niall of the Nine Hostages), his grandson Fergus became the First King of the Dalriada on That Stone. It does not belong to Scotland or England!

      Could you explain the difference? As far as I know, her reign, though largely through regents, was over Scotland.
