I liked the bit at 17:19, when someone says 'oops..... broken,' the sound goes off but comes back a couple of seconds later. I wonder where this was copied, lol.

Such a clear and efficient way of explanation gives a better understanding of how the city grows up and up...

Think I'll combine those books to create a best seller. Perhaps, "Harry Holmes and The Treasure Train to Spotter Island".

Still a very beautiful and historical city but i cant help but feel it has become a victim of its own success - too crowded too expensive and too touristy to the point of being a borderline McDisneyland for tourists and tourists only with locals being forced out to the suburbs to make way for profitable tourist and student accomodation - and what benifits do the Edinburgh people get from all this success - not much if anything at all

sounds just like every cool place in US - tourist money/foreigners driving out the locals

I can hear Chinese than English in Edinburgh.. not only tourists.
So many Chinese students. Is there any funding program for them? Than to local students? If you walk on Princess Street which is a main street in Edinburgh, I can tell for sure that Edinburgh is losing its own story and characters. It is sad.

There's a couple theories. One is its name in Gaelic- 'Dùn Èideann' translates as 'fort on the hill.' The second theory is King Edwin + 'burgh' (which means fort.)

... however the "return" of politics has done Edinburgh and Scotland no favours!
