- Just another beautiful day of wave sailing at Ho'okipa Beach Park on the North Shore of Maui, Hawaii. When the crowds are light and the waves are smooth and playful your left with the feeling of how lucky you are to be one of the few enjoying this moment in time. This video was recorded on February 3, 2023.

Cant look at hardly any buojancy. 105 lit. Would be way smoother with no loss of maneuverability
And would a slightly bigger sail also help to get you planing faster?

Great videos! How do you do to don't have any water drops on the lens? Your videos are really clear even after diving or surrounded by white water
@windsurfyotrascosas5205 Thank you. I am using the GoPro10 which comes with a hydrophilic coating on the lens cover. The trick is to clean the cover before you hit the water and then never touch the lens cover while your sailing... the oils on your hand will cause water droplets to collect on the lens.

Love your vids. Go there for a happy place. I've been windsurfing since 1987 in S. FL. ( Deerfield Beach, Boca Raton, Pompano Beach 16th street, and Virginia Key Miami) and some competitions at Calema in Merritt Island and the Inlet- to-Inlet race (I-to-I.org) and a couple of Gorge visits in the late 80s and early 90s. My dream is to sail at Ho'okipa one day. I had tickets for the full month of May 2020 but ...Covid. Your vids keep the fire burning and give me confidence that I can still have fun there even though I am way way way past my modest prime.

Each batter lasts for about an hour... I switched batteries halfway through this session.
