- I had the opportunity to film this black Mercedes-Benz E-Class tuned by BRABUS, it's called the BRABUS E V12 800 Sedan. The driver told me this Brabus E-Class will participate in the 2014 Gumball 3000 Rally!
The E V12 Coupe is an 800 HP monster with 1.047 lb-ft of torque madness! It has a twin-turbo 6.3 liter V12 engine and 0-100 km/h goes in 3.7 seconds and it has a 370 km/h top speed barrier!

The drag Is way to short, no doubt the E V12 is losing, it's too heavy, but i believe on a mile drag it would beat them..

These stupid comments on here tell me that many viewers have no clue about cars at all. Of course the car lost all dragraces. But only because it was such a short distance. The SLS and the MP4 have a modern double clutch transmission. Obviously they shift through the gears blazing fast while the Brabus has a basically 15 year old torque converter which is quite slow BUT necessary to handle the massive torque of the V12 engine. Lets do this races again on a 5 km straight and you will see that the Brabus will easily rip any of those cars from 250km/h up...

@@waldalwahsh7833 Most people don't know that Brabus v12s are bored out larger than the stock v12 block. it makes even more power and that's impressive in itself to be able to put it down.

Obviously the Brabus lost, it's geared for 230 mph whereas the most of other cars max out at 208 mph, and it's a saloon with a huge heavy V12 in the front, not a huge amount of aero and no super-fancy dual-clutch transmission, etc. and probably weighs around 2 tonnes. In a longer drag race, the Brabus would pull ahead because it has more power and is geared longer.
The drag is definitely too short for the Brabus, they should go for top end drags.
This got to be a total monster, yeah!

Why do people focus so much on it's losing? Do you realize that this is a FULL SIZE 4 Door FAMILY car up against 2 door carbon fiber supercars that weigh nearly HALF as much, and still it keeps up with the best of them! Trying taking your spouse, 2 kids, and some groceries to grandma's house in a SLR.... Good Luck!

I have an '08 E63. That Brabus is clean as hell...I'm a fan naturally aspirated engines though. No turbo's or superchargers for me..

The power is fine.. AWD will only slow it down in the long run...its built for long drags and rolling starts.. with its RWD you can play nicely with it..thats if it does not kill you in the process

This is a RWD version. New Brabus 850 with AWD does 0-60 in 3.4 seconds and can win easily against the SLS and keep up with the 12C

AMG V8 > V12, this thing is fast and surely a badass machine, but it just lacks that deep nastly rumbling growling and howling of the glorious M156/M159 6.2L Benz AMG V8 (IMHO the best european engine in a very long time, probably even ever made!)

don't doubt the fact it has 800hp, but it looks like its got a few issues. Didn't see a great deal of wheel spin which is what I had expected, the car struggling to get traction. It looked a lot like the traction control was throwing a bit of a wobbly when it was presented with all the power, it doesn't seem to have been setup to make the most of that power. It must be too much for the transmission to handle and so the electronics are limiting everything to prevent damage being caused.

Traction issues until appx 60mph + its only about 1/8th mile run. If it was a mile race this thing would dominate or if it had awd it would kill.

Это W 212 кузов,до рестайл,привод задний,соответственно с такой мощью под капотом и с таким моментом на колеса,зацеп поймать очень тяжело,учитавая его вес.И посмотри с кем он ставиться,Амг Гт,Слр-Макларен,даже в заезде с ходу он им проиграет.Поставь против нее ее конкурентов и результат будет другим.
Со старта да с таким весом и задним приводом.А вот на автостраде отсосут у ешки

hahaha peoples comments on here make me laugh, do you really think that an 800hp HEAVY car could beat a 600hp LIGHT car in a quarter mile drag race? The Brabus uses long gear ratios for high end speed, its not designed to drag race but to power effortlessly around whilst looking damn fine! you do not buy a g class to go off road, so why would you buy a luxury sedan to drag race? hahaha.

I HAVE E55 AMG M113K AND I DREAM ABOUT S65 AMG V12 BITURBO BUT NOW I THINK ITS BETTER LITTLE BIT UPGRADE INJECTORS AND PULLEY AND SOFTWARE SLR AND I CAN BE IN SEVEN SKY...HEAVEN!!!
Very slow for 800hp, a Panamera Turbo S with 800hp and 1400nm would have been out of this world fast..
It's not geared for drag racing. It's intended for Autobahn and high speed driving. It would destroy the Panamera Turbo S on the Autobahn or on a landing strip, both by looks and high speed.

The issue is a bit more complicated than that. Firstly the length of the track is a bit short, meaning that because it is heavier than it's competitors it doesn't have a chance to access all it's torque at its optimal rev range. Even the Veyron is comparatively slow off the line, the longer the track, the faster it gets.
Also because of the high torque and lack of all wheel drive, it has a handicap of excessive wheel spin on the line, taking extra time to leave off the line.
Brains E V12 : over 100 l/100km, the lowest traction 0.7g, extreme tail flick, extreme slide with V12 biturbo, wider rear track than front track chastised by Brabus Mercedes Benz.
