    I need all the sewing YTers to take notes. Glory has single-handedly reintroduced me to sewing and I can't be stopped. About to tackle these shorts, the cargo pants, and short and long-sleeve tees. I've made three of his boxy hoodies so far and they're super comfy and look sick af. As long as he continues to make content I will continue to support him because there's none better!

    I did a whole year of learning/interning from a professional garment maker and your explainations are so much easier to understand. It's actually such a talent to explain steps in garment construction this well, so easy to understand and adding from different perspectives/multiple views is a winner. Much respect!

    Found you on TikTok promoting this vid. Came straight here from how you presented yourself.
    Good audio levels, good communication. I'm nowhere near this level of sewing ability, only just having started, but I hope you blow up here on YT. The tutorial is something I'm gonna save for later given all the tips you included.
    That code in the title is really good for SEO. Really smart.

    You are awesome! I’ve been sewing for 50 years and the way you teach and make patterns is great. Just a tip, Put a piece of painters tape ( coloured masking tape) on the wrong side of fabric pieces at the top. You won’t get mixed up again.

    • @kingagabrielson4372
      @kingagabrielson4372 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Used this tip and SO happy I did. All black everything looks amazing but can get tricky with right and wrong sides, I was referring back to my tape hints, a lot 😅

    Having just learned this myself, I must evangelise.
    Press your seams, people! Screw looks, it makes the sewing so much easier when the fabric isn’t trying to do its own thing!

    Wow, awesome video! Question: I have this same machine and when I start my line of stitching, right before reverse stitching to secure, I have to hold the tails of the upper and lower threads behind the machine. Taut. It looks like when you start your line of stitching you don’t have to. Can you explain how that is?

    31:40 - sew the TOP of the pocket to the front mesh - otherwise it looks like your pockets are sew in backwards (as in, they go towards your booty) unless you're actively holding them forwards.
