Yea, well they will have to eradicated from their positions of untouchable power in pretty much every institution in western civilization , including sadly above all, the church. So wish us all good luck with that...
I am an American Anglican, and my husband is a priest (ACNA). Thank you for speaking so clearly about the mess the Church of England is in. (Thankfully it is not the church IN England as there are many Christians outside of the CofE) Don’t be afraid to expose the corruption and call her leadership to task. BTW - Love Fr Calvin!
This people talking and defending the creeds and traditions of the church trying to avoid changes in those matters are “SIMPLY” holding on to something that never have been real in the first place. The church and its leaders always have done it in the past accommodating political tendencies with its own interests, they have invented the concept of burring the bodies instead of burning “BECAUSE” so they would be able to hold on to the responsibility of the ceremonies, cemeteries, maintenances of cemeteries, and so on and so forth, which always have been under the control of the church. Burning would mean, no expensive rituals or expensive coffin, from that which the church always have had its own benefits holding hands with the funeral mafia/industry. What the church is doing now just proves what they always have done. They are in control and keep turning or changing the way they control society. Not only the followers of the church suffer the consequences but the whole lot since government and church are part of the same controlling mafia. The church has to go lower and lower in its actions and perhaps one day this people will see with transparency the illusion of the church and the lies on which the church have it’s foundation. Every layer knows that every now and again, the lye needs to be retold but with the changes and adaptations based on its own agenda.
I went to Westminster Abbey to prey, if l dident want to pay the huge fee to enter the Abbey, l was told l could walk around to a small side back door, and into a side corridor of the Abbey were 10 or so, chairs were placed up against a wall, this is how the faithful who wish to prey, are treated in one of our greatest places of worship.... The C of E like so many UK once great institutions, have become a farce and a National Embarrassment.... imo
The Anglican Church is in effect skirting around the Thirty Nine Articles, which says in effect that no one shall be denied access to a place of worship Charging admission is denying admission, hence the small restricted area for prayer and contemplation.
Yes you have to pay big bucks to worship God at Westminster Abbey........or opt for the pokey little corner away from the American and Japanese tourists who are parting with their cash in the gift shop .

Just before the pandemic, I attended a church of England for Sunday mass, in Hampstead, London. I was raised Roman catholic, however I did not mind the differences between the services. I stopped attending the Church however, because the Church of England is gone fully woke, and has been infiltrated by activists(those with blue or purple hair), who either preach LGBT propaganda or BLM propaganda and so on. The older vicars, are also gone fully woke(aka fake). The service had nothing to do with the gospels of Jesus Christ, but it was an indoctrination camp. I have been attending a Roman catholic Church since , just around the corner and I do not regret my decision.
Try the Jesuit Church on Farm Street. Family Service 10.00AM Tridentine at around 11.00AM get there early as it's so popular, people actually stand for it, who can't get a seat. Tends to be rather old, conservative Jesuits. Definitley NOT trendy, nor woke. Still doing Latin Mass too and they can't be stopped.
Yep we share the same religion and experience I done as you and visited a COE service on a few occasions over the years. But not now it's truly a woke camp I'm sure in the near future it will be compulsory to be homosexual.
With all respect to our English brethren, the American Anglican congregation continues to stand against the dilution of our faith. It's saddening to see these things happen to genuinely compassionate people of faith that are led astray.
Sadly my local Australian Anglican church has fallen. I stopped going when they told me not to read the King James Bible, even in private, as it's not inclusive of the LGBT community.
It looks like they have lost their way, their faith, and the ability to comfort. Yes, the shutting down of the church during the plandemic was atrocious, which to all intent and purpose confirmed that they had no faith in God and his mercy.
The Church of England has lost their way a long time ago. As has many Western Religions. 🙏😕 But, the good news is we do not need a church or organized religion to worship GOD. 🙂🙏
How can anyone believe in the Church of England which was instituted by a ‘man’ who was self-indulgent, egotistical and determined to get his own way by murdering and torturing people who opposed him?

As someone who's family has been here for well over a thousand years perhaps it's time the Church of England was cashed in and we all got our share of the money and land that our ancestors we conned out of.

@@ddoherty5956 And as I'm sure you realise, if you lineage is so long and proven, atleast one of your ancestors probably already benifited from the dissolution of the RC church. I know in my family's case one of my ancestors was Henry 7 favourite tailor. From this marriage he became related to the Howard family which produced Ann Bolyn and Katherine Howard. He was rewarded with some monastery land. Using this he married a woman whose family claimed descendancy from Charlemagne. I disregard this as I modestly understand that in the Tudor times people made outrageous claims. A child of this marriage suffered an arranged marriage to an elderly man. As a widow she married by choice a man with a single manor house in Cornwall. And had two more surviving children. But by 1850 they were working class. Running a rented farm, and supplementing the farms income with working in mines. I'll say one thing for them though, despite growing up before free education the family was always literate. In circa 1850, three brothers, along with their wives and children emigrated to Australia, NZ and South America. So tell me what your ancestors did for a thousand years ?
I absolutely love enjoying this programme. - please keep it up. It's not often that we get to hear common sense being discussed on any social media, let alone the mainstream media.
Pre Vatican II Catholicism is what Christendom needs, our ancestors followed this for almost a thousand years and it brought our country great glory and riches.
"Leviticus 20:13:- "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." When a so-called 'church' is deliberately ignoring the Word of God (as shown above) written in the Bible some two thousand plus years ago; it's blatantly obvious that the 'leaders' of that so-called church have in reality sold their souls to Satan, and no longer represent genuine Christianity in any way.
Almighty and most merciful Father, we have erred and strayed from your ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against your holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done, and we have done those things which we ought not to have done; and apart from your grace, there is no health in us. O Lord, have mercy upon us. Spare all those who confess their faults. Restore all those who are penitent, according to your promises declared to all people in Christ Jesus our Lord. And grant, O most merciful Father, for his sake, that we may now live a godly, righteous, and sober life, to the glory of your holy Name. Amen.
Grant, we beseech thee, merciful Lord, to thy faithful people pardon and peace, that we may be cleansed from all our sins, and serve thee with a quiet mind; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
In that case they're sadly deluded. The only churches that are doing well are the ones that stick to their traditions including the Bible and Christian morality.
Chester cathedral was charging too and I went through by saying I wanted to pray, which was what I usually did on each visit. First of all it is a place of worship and prayer.
As a kid l used to attend the local Catholic Church. Once a year missionary priests used to visit our diocese. They were very much fundamentalist and full of blood and thunder. They used to scream insults at the congregation, calling us sinners and the wrath of God would be the result etc. The church was full to the gunnels and people stood in the street unable to get in while the missionaries preached their blood and thunder fundamentalism.
Water burial? Being boiled in a solution of sodium or potassium hydroxide in a pressure vessel. About 80 gallons apparently. The resulting soup in poured into the sewage system. Environmentally friendly? The water treatment companies might have something to say about that.
Shows how little respect those advocating this abomination actually have for either Christianity or the Christian population of Europe. Are they going to advocate this same method of disposing of the dead (IE: flushing their remnants down the sewers ! ) to Islamic and/or Hindu communities ?
As born and raised Anglican and the son of a late Bishop of the Anglican Church I am absolutely flabbergasted by this recent developments in the church. My father would turn in his grave if this is the new direction the Anglican Communion is taking. Shame!
@Crashinglikeamouse it applies to the western world as a whole. Even in Eastern Europe Christianity is not as strong as it could/should be. Thankfully it is strong in Africa and growing greatly in parts of Asia.
I thank God I was born and raised a Catholic. Francis has perhaps started to move in directions that are not sitting well with me but nothing like this non religion.
Human Composting? So what is burial exactly, particularly of an un-embalmed body wrapped in a simple shroud and placed in a wicker casket? Chemical sludgifying cannot be greener than that, although I suppose the sludge could be more easily sold to farmers to prop up the Church's finances. Pass the Soylent Green please. And surely the carbon footprint of cremation should be the concern of the crematorium and the family who choose that form of disposal, not the Church
@@elizabethfermor344 Neither can I. Mind you, the very concept of "dust to dust, ashes to ashes" does seem to imply some sort of return to zero. Maybe that's what the Church of England are talking about?
Visted a church in the City of London. They were burning so much incense we were choking and departed quickly. Further down the road we popped into Pepy's church and were "interogated" by some rather hostile church workers as to why we were there. My local church seems to have been taken over by some "cult" with odd looking courses. I was thinking of checking out the Quakers but I do love singing and praise. When I see Rainbow banners draped over the altar and all the gender stuff I really want to keep clear of the Church of England!
For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 2 Timothy 4:3-4

Church of England congregations are a strong-willed people. They have an indomitable will, -- a will to lose. Otherwise, they would be shouting down Welby at every opportunity and denouncing him as an agent of God's enemy. You can't save people from themselves.
I don't know, I think half the congegation, or more, have gone woke, supporting gay marriage, BLM and Climate change protesters. C of E used to be called Tory party at prayer, now definitely the left wing woke brigade at prayer, if they bother at all !
The Church of England no longer preaches & teaches Christianty as brought to us through the Bible. It has allowed the Devil into it & sadly is finished as such.
Hundreds of genuinely Christian clergy from the Diocese of London met the bishops last week to state their clear opposition to the unbiblical agenda that has taken hold at the top. It should come as no surprise that these faithful ministers typically pastor the thriving London C of E churches. If the non-Christian bishops don't step down or repent, this large group of clergy will look to find other arrangements for their churches - probably within global Anglicanism but definitely outside of the theologically liberal Church of England.
That water process seems so disrespectful and undignified. Desmond Tutu was the first person I heard of as having this ‘water cremation’ and it felt very sad. No need for this.
Peter Hitchens said the Church of England will reach its ultimate destiny when the lesbian Archbishop of Canterbury marries the lesbian Archbishop of York in church as full marriage ceremony and its blessing. I think they are right on course!
Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, I wonder how long it will be until a new Christian church springs forth to offer that deeply rewarding faith experience again to the population in GB, and other western countries. Christianity isn't dead but it has certainly become unrecognizable and has lost so much meaning it no longer captures the excitement or support of younger generations. I fear a terrible catastrophe even worse than Covid will need to happen before we see the new Christians rise to flourish yet again.
What a fantastic point made. We are told to respect personal pronouns, yet the church is not respecting God's own pronouns. As the Bible states (ie the word of God) God uses his preferred pronouns as He/Him :)
I am Church of England clergy. Jesus is my Lord and Saviour and my everything. I believe! He is loved and served by many faithful clergy and congregations in the CofE. It is so gutting though that there have been moves away from orthodoxy recently. Please pray for the leadership to return.
Honestly human composting sounds like it should be a Cannibal corpse song title . A horror themed death metal band … and the Church of England… Soylent green can’t be that too many years off on the horizon at this rate
I have watched Justin Welby rather rapidly destroy the C of E. He is a disgrace to the awesome title of Archbishop of Canterbury. Is there any way he can be removed? He is letting down the true believers with his disgraceful antics. Long ago I wondered if he was a true believer and follower of Christ. He has to go before he does more damage.
What I find so honorable and commendable about British Christians (church-going or not) is their ability to have these discussions in such a civil manner, and respectfully and calmly on topics such as anti-doctrine. This is impossible among Muslims, and rare among Christians in the United States.
It's the final death nail in the C of E church I think.. !!. We buried mum a few days ago. it was a wonderful service by the church. I can't think of anything more disgusting that let a body to rot and wash away their remains.
Totally agreed on that. However, the impression I had from hearing JC talk about this is that it's not a remake; rather a sequel. I think there is lots of scope for this, as long as he has free rein.
Makes me think of the Pharisees and Sadducees blinded by the truth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Even the hymns they were singing testify against them. Wake up stand up stand up for Jesus.
Learn your history: Henry VIII didn't found the Anglican Church, his daughter Elizabeth I did! Henry broke from Rome and founded an independent Catholic Church.
This is why people should read the Bible for themselves and shun these religious establishments. I remember back a few years ago when the church spoke out about chocolate easter eggs and how this was on the radio, newspapers etc. But when it has anything of true importance to speak to the people of, like war they stay silent. I had a vision back in 2015. In this vision it was dark and desolate. I was floating through the air above the houses and when I looked down all I could see was large pieces of broken church sand stone scattered through the earth.
Compositing used to be called burial. As you correctly say you cannot use the plural pronouns because that would mean destroying biblical teaching of the Holy Trinity. The problem with a weak and apostate CofE is that it affects the moral and therefore the financial wellbeing of English society. A return to the strong biblical based teachings of the past may cause anger and offence but it gives moral leadership that will resonate into English society as a whole, reducing crime, divorce and number if babies born to unmarried mothers eventually saving the Exchequer £billions. Evidence for this is found in our society up until the end of the 1950s and the Welsh revival 1904. The CofE is leading England into financial ruin.

If there would be a Church nearby my home like the one Calvin Robinson joined, I would go there in a heartbeat. He is a true Christian and more Catholic than most Catholics. The Catholics here in Belgium are also on the edge of going full woke. I hope our Pope can still turn it around, but I am afraid we are going to lose most of Belgium and Germany. They will have to split off unless the complete Roman Catholic Church goes woke, which is not impossible either imho.

Compositing used to be called burial. As you correctly say you cannot use the plural pronouns because that would mean destroying biblical teaching of the Holy Trinity. The problem with a weak and apostate CofE is that it affects the moral and therefore the financial wellbeing
of English society.
