I'm actually a fan of the really skinny screen on the outside. I thought that I would like the Google folds phone as it's a little shorter and wider. But I've learned to appreciate this screen a lot more. Makes the phone very easy to use with one hand

Ive been playing honkai star rail on the fold and its addictive. I dont think i could go back to other phones afterwards. But that dust on the internal display is annoying but this is still the coolest phone ive ever had.

🍑 Switched from iPhone 14 Pro max. Really enjoying it. Dont use internal screen all that often but love the format of front screen with my smaller hands. I only charge to 85% and generally haven’t had any problems lasting me the day. Only once had to top it up for 10 minutes. Apps are not as clean as on iOS but I’m getting used to having slight workarounds. Blue bubbles keeps me going in iMessage for the time being until I feel I can disconnect.

Architect here, been using one for over a year, spent a week without it to repair the screen and it was really hard not to have it. I do most of my work here, email, Google docs and Samsung Notes for sketches and mood boards. Great for entertainment also. Side note, I use it extensively and the battery lasts me the whole day, no problem and reviewers who don't like the skinny screen didn't bother to use it more than a week or two. It was strange at the beginning, now it's great!

I just got mine yesterday and I've fallen in love with it. Coming from an S 21 Ultra, I didn't think I'd want to upgrade. Definitely not an S 23. the phones have all been the same and If I ever upgraded again, I'd have wanted to get a different phone brand entirely, or a phone that was physically "different" than the usual S line up. I've been multitasking and hunting for great backgrounds and it feels so good to have a bigger view on everything. I remote into my home network a lot and the QoL improvement on the inner screen has been wonderful.

I used a fold 4 for about 3 months and loved it! I especially enjoyed the ability to open and have a document become much more readable without struggling to zoom in or flip to landscape. Sadly it was stolen, but I plan to get another one soon.
Whenever I used my other non foldable phone, it always felt wider and weirder after using the fold, folded 😂

After owning a Fold 4 since it's release I agree with you on all points. Really realistic point of view. Also with the inside screen, yes it's amazing, but in addition to the dust it collects it also smudges easily. And yes for such a thick phone I wish it had more battery power hidden within. It's not terrible, but not great. My inside screen did crack, right down the middle. Samsung fixed it through the mail-in program within 4 business days I had it back. Now that noise it makes when you open your Fold 4, kinda sounds like knuckles cracking. I never liked that and my phone did that since day one as do others who I know who have the Fold. Well when I got it back from repair the new screen doesn't make that noise when you open it. I don't know if it's an upgraded screen or install process. But it is perfectly silent when I open and close it now. Yes it has some flaws, and yes it can pull your pants down when it's in your pocket, but I couldn't go back to a candy bar phone now and really enjoy using it. It's a very good experience.

Gotta get some unique content in these reviews man.
    1. How is this phone when you're on the toilet?
    2. How's the phone reading books vs a Kindle?
    3. Can you play more than 2 games and maybe some recent ones?
    4. How about game council emulators?
    5. How about Steam Link?
    6. How well does it stream to a TV?
    7. How well does it interact with Windows 11?
    8. Dex?
    9. How about driving around with it opened using Google maps on a car dock? Does it fit or is it too big to be open on a car mount? If when closed, is the front screen too small for maps?
    10. Laying in bed with one hand? How does that feel with a massive screen?
    11. How do comic books look and feel on this?
    12. Can you put this on a selfie stick?
    13. How bright is the flash when used as a flashlight?
    14. How far can you walk away and still be connected with a Bluetooth headset?
    15. How well does it work with Xbox Cloud and streaming games that way?
    16. One hand spinning a regular phone from portrait to landscape and back is quite easy. How is it on here?
Come on, be at least a little different than every single other cell phone reviewer.

I am actually really debating getting a pixel fold but the only thing stopping me that it's their first foldable, though I really always loved the pixels and I love the camera on them too. I currently own a Surface Duo 2, I know the phone I own isn't great but I love it. I want something more of the inner screen for a foldable to be landscape. So the pixel seems like a good choice but you're video makes me consider getting a Samsung foldable, great video! Liked and Subbed

You are an insanely beautiful human being. Also great review. I love my fold 4. Though the front screen has cracked and I've needed to replace the inner screen protector after about 9 months. I can't wait for the 5 or have been considering the Pixel - but probably wait for the second edition for them to figure stuff out. The lack of gap in the middle is very appealing and I really like the visor look of the Google phones. But also haha this samsung was so expensive so gonna be paying it off for a while😊

With Dex, if you hook it up to a monitor it can become like a mac mini ($559), when you open it, it becomes like a ipad mini with 5g ($749), and when closed it's very comparable to an iphone 14 pro 512 gb ($1299). When you add those three apple devices together with all the ram and storage, it comes out to $2600. I'd rather have my all in one device for much cheaper. It only cost me $500 after I traded in my 2 year old Note 20 ultra. I also hooked my fold 4 to a Uperfect lapdock and now I have a pretty good 5g laptop. I love my Fold 4!

Been using the fold 4 since its release too. Absolutely 💕 it. I cased-it-up with an amazing Casetify case and it's virtually indestructible now. The multitasking is gold, I use the smaller front screen alot too, but I do wish it was wider like the pixel fold. Inside screen looks great, and yes "fuzzies" do collect easily. But a quick corner of my 👕 polish, and all good. No scratches or dings yet. The crease is no big deal. I rarely notice it, or care, plus I noticed if you can leave it unfolded for extended periods, the crease seems to decrease a bit (but that might be in my head). I have one gripe, it's memory or chip related. After alot of use, it will freeze for a second or 2, and the transition from front screen to inner could be alot smoother. But I'm definitely never going back to non-fold phones again .

The videos are marginally bigger on the fold 4. I use the spen a lot on the s23U while it's inconvenient on the fold 4. Also some software quirks on the fold 4. The camera was a huge downgrade too.

Been an user of the z fold 4 from day 1 pre sale and I have to say it’s incredible but we’re not there yet when it comes to support, not from a lot of apps that are just not optimized, but most importantly support when it comes to the warranty. This is a phone that after 6 months you’re going to have to change the screen protector and that’s not even that bad, the thing is the display is super delicate when it comes to sand or dust and as a person that takes extreme care for my phones and accessories seeing a dead pixel on the screen was just unbelievable and felt with no support at all, called samsung and they basically told me to take it to a ubreakifix and they would fix the screen at no extra cost since it wasn’t accidental damage. I took the phone to the repair shop to tell me that because of the phone had a little chip at the other side of the HOUSING they couldn’t replace the screen for free since samsung told them strictly not to repair the screen if the phone has the slightest scratch… So this is not a phone you can get with no insurance if you’re not expecting to have hardware issues down the road, don’t even talk about trading it in since it has a “damaged screen” now that they couldn’t repair because of the phone fell once since I got it (with case) and got a little scratch… Make it make sense😅 Camera, performance, the screen is beautiful… Just the hardware has issues most of the times and samsung won’t take care of the device with the manufacturer’s warranty if you ever ever EVER dropped your phone 😅

I used the Fold 4 for 4mo. I just recently switched to the S22 Ultra and I'm very happy I did. The Fold 4 has many shortcomings that I do not like. The first is the tall and slim design when folded. This makes it hard to text and makes me use it in the unfolded configuration more than I would like. It should be shorter and wider like the Pixel Fold. Next is the lack of 10x optical zoom. I really want and need the 10x zoom ability. Next is the lack of fast charging. Not only does my used S22 Ultra run laps around my Fold 4 on battery life, but it can fast charge in a pinch which I'm finding to be very convenient.
The Fold 4, although very nicely built (ultra premium quality), is really just a blown up folding S22 and I feel like for the price it needs to be able to compete more against the Ultra lineup.
