Thanks for the wonderful excursion at the Lagar de Azeite. The lady who gave you and us viewers the tour was very good at explaining it in English. I have seen other videos about olive pressing facilities, but I had never seen the entire process from the beginning to the very end, and how every usable bit is extracted as much as possible. And even how the water is reused to fertilize their own land and trees. It is hard, if not impossible at all, to beat such an efficient process with a DIY setup. And 50 liters of oil is really good. Congrats with such a productive harvest. Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed watching it. Big 👍
@@insAneTunA Thank you 😊 I am glad you enjoyed the tour of the Lagar de Azeite. I was also quite impressed by their ability to reuse almost everything from the production process.
Hi Iris, that was a nice tour in the factory, it's interesting to see and hear how that all goes about. And a very impressive harvest I must say, I can tell you're proud of that. Lovely with the labels. Have a great week!!! Cheers Bert 🙏🏻❤
Thank you, Iris, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this process - all new to me! These weeks on your Quinta are fascinating. And you seem to have quite a lot of experiential knowledge about cultivation and horticulture. Would you like to share a little about that with us?
@@joannagrimmer It was all new to me as well before that. Some knowledge I have, some I gather along the way and are happy to share it with you 🌱💚 I am glad you enjoyed the video 🙏
I advise you to let the oil decant for several days in the large barrel before transferring it to the bottles, this way the "sludge" will sink to the bottom and you will have a lighter oil.
WOW Congrats !! 46 liters that's a LOT. WIll you do some olives also baked in the oven? If so, I would like to see how, how long and at which temp. Next year maybe more than 50 lt?? The tour was also great, so much to learn from it. Thanks 🙂
@@Greta-v2e I was quite surprised by the outcome too 🫒🤗 Maybe in the future I will show some oven recipes. With my camping setting at the moment and no oven 😅 it is not possible.

you can add dry piri-piri, too. (my secret recipe, don't tell anyone) natural viagra! 😜 you should be proud of your own oil. compare it with a store bought brand, a foreigner one, and see the differences... stay strong. 🤠😎
It's such a pleasure to watch your channel because you're so kind and fun. As we say here: "simpática". 😊
@@RosaFelix Awww 🥰 That is very sweet of you to say. Thank you 💚
