you guys do quality work and I love the fact that you have this channel. Not many pool companies would put themselves out there like that. Do you guys do any work in Florida? mainly east central part of Florida? Thanks

Hello Cristian. we would like to know after the vinyl ester layer how many layers of chop fiber glass you apply. thank you very much.

hi, good video, but i cant understand how you got the idea that continuous fibre reinforcement is more flexible than chopped reinforcement. continuous is always the ultimate reinforcement you can have for strength and stiffness. lets say we look at flexural test specimens. in the case of unidirectional tapes you have 100% of the property in 0° reinforcement direction; in the case of woven fabric because 50% of the fibres are aligned in warp and 50% in weft direction you get usually less than 50% of the UD properies (considering effects like undulations); in the case of chopped you have, depending on your process, uniform reinforcement in all directions so just a small amount of the fibres are aligned in the 0° direction ... simply by thinking about this, a specimen made of uniformally oriented chopped fibres can never be stronger or stiffer than a woven fibre or UD fibre specimen.
if chopped was stiffer or stronger, high performance race cars, aircraft etc. would be made of chopped carbon fibre. actually it isnt ;) but i can understand that for hull building like pools, spraying chopped fibres is faster, more convenient and less labour intensive than continuous lamination
5:59 you are changing up strength and stiffness :)
    greetings

how do you guarantee that the darker pools dont streak in colour once water and chemicals are added to the pool?

Hi Hilary Brown! It shouldn't. If it does you should call the manufacturer. It is important that you maintain records of your chemicals...any type of pool finish can be ruined with poor chemical maintenances. Be mindful, be diligent and maintain records every time you check chemicals and add any.
