I bought one (800 Advanced) last month, and its fantastic. Impressive Torque, brakes are very good and its been a real treat! Thanks for the review. FYI, I am based on Melbourne.

Hey mate, just a question. Does the Advanced model come with the steering dampener and do the mirrors vibrate much while riding?

how does it go on long day rides on rural roads that are bumpy? looking to pick one up myself and turn it into a sports tourer

I've just bought one (800NK Advanced) and frankly I'm really impressed of the build quality. Really maneuverable, brakes are really nice, very well modulated throughout the hole lever travel. Front and rear suspension are quite responsive and progressive with quite the adjustment options. Exhaust sounds great, very aggressive sound with pops and bangs. Clutch and brake levers are adjustable, the rear brake lever is adjustable as well. Seat is comfortable. ABS works well, throttle is responsive, the torque on the low revs is amazing, gear shifting feels a bit clumsy at firsts, but after a few kilometers on the bike you get used to it and it gets slicker, actually the gears on my Duke 390 feel jerkier. All in all it appears to be well built bike offering quite a lot for the price range. Would love it to turn out to be a reliable machine in time.

I loved the ride i had on it, i dont really ride street bikes much but if i had the money and the room this would be my weekender street bike of choice. I was worried about CFmoto and their reputation and quality but i have been proven that they are actually a great well built bike.

The more videos I watch about this bike the more Im falling in love. I have battle in my head between this and kawasaki z650. I will have to go test drive both bikes when it gets warmer over here, and then I think I will decide which one I wanna buy :D

@Duusska, A friend of mine has a Kawasaki Z650 , and being honest with you comparing equipment wise the CF moto 800 NK is way better, as per my opinion.
At this time I do not own one myself but I will get one this summer just waiting for the Summer campaign to open so I may buy it.
      (i ride at this time a 1999 Suzuki gsxr750)

    • @Duusska

@@luisribeiradio yeah Kawasaki has almost no equipment comparing to 800nk that's why Im really considering cf moto. But on the other hand Kawasaki is strong on the market and there is no problem with finding parts. Cf Moto is more risky bc not many people ride it - at least in my country.
Both bikes has pros and cons.
At the moment i want cf moto more than kawasaki but will see what decision l make when I see them in person 😅

Looking to minimise jerkiness, snachy throttle MT to perform throttle relearn. Stand up, neutral, ignition on, kill switch run potion, open throttle fully and hold for least 60 seconds, release throttle, turn ignition off, turn ignition on, start bike.

Cool bike!! But Actually I really think that the kind of bike for me could be the 800 MT or the MTX if it finally hits the market!

    • @800Adventures
      @800Adventures  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Me personally would definitely keep my 800MT over this, I do alot more touring and it's much more practical.
I did 1500km (933 miles) in 3 days and didn't feel fatigued at all and was super comfy. Couldn't do that on a sports bike

This is what I’m thinking but I’m still gonna get the Advanced model because of the steering dampener and Apple CarPlay. Honestly I probably don’t need it. But it’s good knowing it’s there.

Hi Drew, great review. When cornering, did you have the stand or the pegs scrape?
I have seen some other reviews where the lean angle seems to be restricted.

    • @800Adventures

I would be going this. Only reading an article about the Hornet but first off this has 32kw more power, quick shifter as standard, better dash, key less start, cfmoto T box with app connect for tracking the bike if it's ever stolen. But that's my opinion just off reading an article about the hornet. But it is a very good looking bike 👌🏻
