Hi mate. I've purchased the kit and trying to remove the cannister. Unfortunately the video stopped after crash Bar removal. Is the fairing spotlight section held by a rubber mount? I've unbolted everything I can see or feel. I'm reluctant to just try and pull it off. Am I missing something?
Nice vid man! I have an issue maybe you can help: while using apple carplay mirroring the navigation map on the bike display a “carbit pop up” keeps popping up avoiding the use of carplay. I don’t know if it depends from never connecting the bike to a 5g wifi hotspot or not but that black carbit screen comes out and stays there instead of the google maps etc screen… any ideas? Ah i am using a 800mt bike thanks anyway 😊
I've try this and it's amazingly loud! I dare to compare the sound as loud as HD sound, for me, is not recommended for a long ride.
I am so close to the purchase of an 800mt. I come off my P’s in February. I can’t wait to take one for a test ride!! I’m enjoying your videos as well keep them coming.
It's just so F* up how the governments around the world force this air pollution controll crap down are throats, while letting all the air planes (piston and jet engines) and ocean going ships to burn jet fuel and black bunker fuel with NO Emmision and noise controls.
Enjoyed the video mate. Keep 'em coming 🙂
Be loving you information videos just picked up a new 800MT Explore fantastic…just getting a bit stuck on connectivity my software is the latest looking a bit different to yours in this video My question is with an apple phone and Cardo intercoms do i connect the phone to the bike and phone to Cardo not the bike… If I connect Cardo to bike then I can use the quick button on the bars but then seems to interrupt the music from my phone thanks for your help
Great trip so far
NOTE: Will installing the EVAP kit and the O2 sensor delete kit worsen fuel economy?? Or will it stay the same. Thanks
@@spatarogiuseppe3616 EVAP shouldn't change it as your not changing any sensors just re routing where the fuel vapour goes. I am not sure about the O2 kit as I haven't don't it and probably won't as I have no reason too unless it's just for testing. But very happy the way the bike rides now
Oh and while you have time, make sure you ride Jacobs Ladder (near Lonnie (Launceston) in the Ben Lomond national park)
You’ll have to go back and ride Scottsdale to St Helens. One excellent road that. While you’re near St Helens, make sure you check out the “Pub in the Paddock “👍👍👍
Their is No reason to worry your little brain about "dusty air" (as you said) going under the lid of the air box. That is the incoming air side of the air box, all the dusty air going into the engine is being sucked through the air filter is coming into the air box on that side of the air filter anyway. In worst case scenario, some moron that did strip ot all the plastic holes could just duct tape the lid on. It's on the other side of the air filter is where you need to keep the air clean.
Very tasteful additions and rather appreciable Am considering similar for my own 411 as well Cheers
Don't you feel any heat from the pipe with no heat shield ?
Loving your channel my white 800MT comes in 3 weeks would you recommend these crash bars… CfMoto originals are $300 Australian but there behind of accessories parts so could take months I’ll get these if the similar and good… thanks for all your help 😊
Thanks for the video! I have a question, does the bike gainet mor HP after installing the pipe and the exhaust? Kind regards!!!!
I'm gonna try it!! Thanks for the video!!!
Make sure you do “The Tarkine” in the north west and drop into Tulla Lodge further south. 👍👍👍
You’ll love it. Been there 5 times (4 on bikes). Planning the next one atm. 👍👍👍
Is the hose needed? Can't we leave it open just like that? Or with the screw on?
Looking forward to the next episode mate! 🙂
Hello from Greece, do you know if the cf 800MT explore has an indication of the outside temperature on the screen?
@@atekcompany8307 Na it doesn't unfortunately
@@800Adventuresthe touring has it, is it possible that they removed the temperature sensor in explore?or maybe it was added in some screen upgrade in the future?
Great watch mate! Fantastic video!!
For better understanding (i am a noob). In this video, you started for CHANGING the evap, but at the end you completely remove it? Removing the EVAP is it legal or affect in some ways the moto usage?
How many miles on the bike now?
@@renoallstate4573 19,500km now 👌🏻👌🏻 Just finished a 2 week trip where I did nearly 3200km without missing a beat
a few questions, 1. does this work with 800nk, cos anything below 40-50km an hour and it's very twitchy and jerky. 2. does this void the factory warranty? 3. another guy commented regarding 02 delete kit, do you think it'll help?
Someone commented that it was compatible with the 2023 800nk but I suspect the O2 is different, (single cylinder vs twin) but I would also venture a bet that someone on the KTM 790 side has that solved also.
Thanks ;) you helped me!
So... It's 42 for better speed cruising... Did I get that well ?
What's the realistic install time? I've been toying with the idea. Seems relatively straight forward just patience required? I'm not a mechanic but can follow 1 2 3 lol.
Thanks for the video. I just got mine in the mail today. I love your bike in all black, btw. Ive crashed twice because at really slow speed it was so jerky it just took out from under me. I couldn't even grab the clutch in time so just let go.
Why haven't you removed the red and black wires from the plug and connected the others directly? Isn't it better than connecting the wires with each other? Thank you for this tutorial tho 😄
I removed the evaporation charcoal canister and and plugged in the Smartmoto resistor , it has transformed the throttle sensitivity on the bike ,, no more "on off " jerky throttle,i also removed the 0² sensors and used the Smartmoto O2 delete kit ,, now the bike is smoooooooth as butter. Highly recommend these 2 mod's.
can u send link please? do you know if it works with 800nk too?
@grayf3861 I'd imagine it should,, I can't do the link thing,, but if u Google SmartMoto Electronics you should find your bike model there on their website.
Will installing the EVAP kit and the O2 sensor delete kit worsen fuel economy??
@@spatarogiuseppe3616 I haven't noticed any change in the fuel economy,, I'm using 5.8 litres per 100 KMs since new
@@grayf3861 I'm sure it will work on the NK ,, google is your friend 😉
I am also considering this simple modification. Has anyone had experience with the modification and has the problem been resolved?
Many people comment above the issue fixed
I'd be very interested in a GPX to take a look at some of those smaller tracks I often miss when I'm in the area
For the money im happy, bought x2 put in slightly different cards from kmart . one is good other not so good .(records upside down ). odd but all up good for snorkelling
Ur still comparing it to an 800cc, just concentrate on what ur riding.
You got a link for a GPX of the route?
Great Video, mate. I know the area well, my closest riding spot (from Kilmore)! If you have time (and haven't done it before) I recommend Horan's Track which is incredible and takes you into the Tallarook hills/forest!
What GPS set up are you running off your bars
Damn, for someone not doing a lot of dirt roads & a big heavy bike, you did alright. The big MT did alright! 👍
Great stuff bro! You're absolutely right, 2 definitely different bikes! But still, both competent bikes in the market for different reasons. Thats one of the reasons i held back on getting the 450MT. If i take a tumble off-road, I'd full apart. Too many accidents. Thats why the 800MT is on my radar. Perhaps, the 800MT-X is the go.
Grazie grazie grazie
Anymore updates on this mod ? Is the bike still running good ?
I'm about to take ownership of an MT800 Explore. I live in Melbourne and wonder if there is a CFMoto rider group in the area. Can't seem to find one.
Can't believe you ground the pin while the chain was strapped to the swingarm. Best way to do it is while it's wrapped around the rear sprocket before you take the wheel out, that way you wouldn't have started to damage the swingarm, also it's best practice to change the front sprocket at the same time. Also when riveting the chain, do it while the new rear sprocket is fitted, that way you can put the new link in and join it together again without damaging the swingarm. That's not the correct way to use the tool to push the side plate on. Easy way to undo the bolts for the rear sprocket is to loosen them off while the wheel is still in the swingarm. Same as tightening them up later after you've fitted the wheel.
Mate, do you know how to piss off that map on the CF800?
Did you have any problems with the new exhaust? I’m thinking to get one
I did the evap delete and O2 sensor delete today. The evap delete didn't seem to help much at all, but I did notice an improvement with the O2 delete. Nothing spectacular, but any improvement on this bike is worth the effort.
Great videos mate! I bought one off Ali as well but a much shorter can, it's obnoxiously loud even with the baffle. Reverted back to the stock. How do you find the noise level on this one? I commute daily with mine here in Auckland. Cheers!
Great improvement on the audio. The voiceover from within the helmet is perfect.
