Me and my wife have 2 gliders and we follow this diet from your webpage. Thank you for actually making this, it help us understand way better and lets us see how to make it proper compared to just reading in on the website. Thank you !!
Thank you SO MUCH I just switched to this diet and I FOR THE LIFE OF ME I couldn't find anything that specifically said how many tablespoons PER glider. It's not very specific in the directions. Also I realized thanks to you that I'm using the wrong orange juice. Soooo thank you. Bunches.
Hello, thanks for putting this video together! They have been very helpful. Just curious... if you usually use fresh fruits and vegetables, how would you go about doing that? Would you freeze the batch before you added the fruits and vegetables?
I'd say it would be possible to freeze all the wet ingredients then add the fruits and vegetables every night. You'd have to break down the measurements of every ingredient though to make them fit into 1.5 tbsp per serving per glider.
The only real reason you would want them smaller is for storage reasons. She was keeping hers in big containers, while we put our in ice trays then in to freezer bags, so we cut our up just alittle smaller then she has hers. I hide slices of fruit for my suggies in their cage while they're sleeping apples, oranges, and halved grape also my wife found these unsweetened dates they absolutely love.
I don’t know why your adding Orange juice... tropicana Orange juice! That stuff is full of sugar! Please explain to me how that’s healthy, or something the gliders would even find in the wild.
drealvsherhubby yes. when she says staple diet, that means an everyday diet. This diet requires the TPG vitamins that you can find on their website. You need to sprinkle it on top of their food everyday as well.
They shouldn’t be getting corn and frozen mixed vegetable packets... and everyday? That’s just disgusting. You cant just buy fresh fruits and veggies? they shouldn’t have corn regularly because it’s high in phosphorus? Why why why
I don't exactly know what you mean for the first two questions but for the third.. Sugar gliders need a calcium-phosphorus ratio of 2:1. If they get too much phosphorus and not enough calcium, they can get back leg paralysis and die. Corn is a food that is very high in phosphorus so sugar gliders shouldn't eat it often. Hope this helped!
No ma'am, suggies should never be given reptile calcium. It can kill them. For more info about our diet read on here: www.thepetglider.com/pages/the-glider-nutrition-system
I mean I'm sure it's best for their diet.. It is the TGP diet after all. But if you get another glider safe vitamin then it would probably be fine.. Just no reptile vitamins
@@Toussaano There's a certain brand of advertised reptile vitamins that are okay but all the other ones are definitely not good. What's the brand they gave you? Also you usually need to add calcium to your gliders' food but it depends on your staple.

Thanks so much for your kind words :)
I love this recipe. It helps with both of my gliders and time!

Do you give them the food all at once, or do you give them two separate meals?
Hello, thanks for putting this video together! They have been very helpful. Just curious... if you usually use fresh fruits and vegetables, how would you go about doing that? Would you freeze the batch before you added the fruits and vegetables?
Add f/v to the mix and freeze altogether.
Also, chop the f/v before adding to the mix ... according to their recipe on their website.
Can I chop up or blend my veggies and fruit? The add in the mix
My babies love this diet 😊 I just made a double batch today for my 6 suggies lol
Hannah Michelle do you have any cage recommendation I am going to get one but I want to be prepared .Do you recommend this diet.
K & E you need to get at least 2
For the vitamins how do you make sure they don’t eat each others food?
No you cant really control that, but you can spread it out on a wide surface so its as evenly dispersed
Hi, can you write the ingredients?
corn has stuff in it that could become dangerous so don't feed it to them often
Can you put the fruits and veggies in frozen or defrost first?
Clayton Robbins freezer
I would like the recipe as well. I've been trying new things and I want to see if my gliders would like it.
Aimeemon the recipe is on their website thepetglider.com
How many eggs for a Batch of 2 gliders?? Like on the website.
The recipe on the website yields a batch that will last 2 gliders for roughly 1 month. 6-8 ounces of protein is the general amount to use in our diet
What do you use to scramble the eggs? Do they have to be scrambled or could they be boiled?
They can be boiled as long as they are COOKED and then MASHED so you can mix evenly into the diet
@@Thepetglider Thank you
Why are you using juice and not concentrate ? The recipe calls for concentrate
Can you mix this recipe up without the fruits h veggies h freeze then add the fruits h veggies nightly with a tbls of this on it?

What is the flax seed for?
What was the first thing you said called that needs to be in there cages are call times ?
Brunch (pellets)
I notice you aren't chopping up the fruits and vegetables. I thought it was required to chop them

I noticed she did not chop the fruits and veggies, should we put them in the mix whole?
Dennie Howard no the gliders would have a had time chewing on them, either put them in a processor of dice them VERY small
Not true, these are frozen small veggies. They are clumped together so may look large
32° that's a heatwave for ND between November-April 🤣
Do you have a website? And I would like to get this food mix recipe for two sugar bears
It's on The Pet Glider website.
Could you do everything organic?
Absolutely and at TPG (this is just my house) they do make a much more varied diet. This is just quick TPG :)
My gliders won’t eat fresh fruit and veggies, so I purée it and it works great
How do you purée it?
My vet says no raspberry’s or blackberries due to pesticides getting in the mocks of the Berry’s.
We prefer organic raspberries and blackberries for this reason
It it just egg yolks or Are whites included
drealvsherhubby whites are included.
I cant believe you use bottled OJ. You end up with 1/4 of the nutrients, compared to using concentrate
I don’t know why your adding Orange juice... tropicana Orange juice! That stuff is full of sugar! Please explain to me how that’s healthy, or something the gliders would even find in the wild.
Is this a good every night meal?
drealvsherhubby yes. when she says staple diet, that means an everyday diet. This diet requires the TPG vitamins that you can find on their website. You need to sprinkle it on top of their food everyday as well.
Yes, this is the best every day meal :) www.thepetglider.com/pages/the-glider-nutrition-system
Queen of eyeballing it,
Can you give the written recipe? Do you keep your gliders in that small cage? Sorry I’m new mom 🤗
Marcia Silvia Johnson well, as far as travel, i would yes but living habitat, it wouldn't be good for them.
I keep my 2 gliders in a medium cage. And the recipe is on their website if you need it .
Can somebody write all the ingredients
Go to The Pet Glider website (Google it, as I don't want to get it wrong)
The recipe is there
