Yeah, it is. I used to sleep in the living room with them for a while, and they would always run on their wheel, bark, climb all over. They are nocturnal, so they are supposed to be very active at night, but if you have a hard time sleeping, then it wouldn't be wise to sleep right next to them.
Hi, I'm thinking of getting two sugar gliders and have been binging a bunch of forums and videos just so I know I'd be a good fit for them. I didn't know if it'd be okay to ask you some questions about it...? My mom wants to have one from the bonding pair and we've been planning on bonding schedules and didn't know if the pair would be okay to be separated in the day- one being with her and another being with me- before we'd rejoin and have them together again after she returns from work. Would it be better to have them together and bond with them with one person at a time or would it be okay to separate them during the bonding process? I'm sorry if this is all incorrect, I'm still learning and haven't been able to find too much about this matter. (Also, thank you so much for these videos, they've helped me immensely and are so darn informative!)

Also they need a water shower now and then they like that so perhaps a sprinkler.
Ashton Grist so glad you are so excited about sugar gliders. Unfortunately I don’t have any information about breeders in the UK. As far as the dome with plants and water showers I don’t believe there is a safe way to do that. Gliders can not get wet! They can get very very sick if they get wet and don’t get dried off immediately. They also need a range of temp that would not work with an outside enclosure. The soil and plants would also not be easy to reproduce in captivity. I have seen many people ask if there is a safe way to do this and I have never heard a positive response. Please revise your plan for housing 😊. Also you will want at least two as they can get depressed and ill if housed alone. Thank you for watching! Keep doing research 😊

heyy,i just got my glidder. at 1st when i bought it,it seems friendly but once its in the carry pouch its starting to make crabbing sounds few time when i brought him to home. i dont know how to take it out so i put the whole carry bag and unzip it,and put inside the cage. and my glidder dont wanna come out and when u try to show my back of the hand he kinda wanna bit it. should i just let the bag inside the cage?
Some zippered bags are not made to be put in the cage and would not be safe to do so. If it is safe you could leave it in the cage like a pouch. Sounds like your glider needs a little space and may not be ready for the bonding bag phase. I have a bonding video you might like and I have a bunch more for new owners coming. th-cam.com/video/IWAbqSrPIzk/w-d-xo.html

the least expensive glider coloring is always a "standard" (similar to Neytiri's coloring but with less white on the face). Standards tend to run about $200-$300 each
You might be annoyed I keep commenting on your videos, That’s completely fine! I understand, I just have a question if your willing to answer. I’m very scared of bugs, But I understand they need meal worms and I’m willing to give them those. I’m just wondering if you need to give them any other bugs, Or do the meal worms need to be live? I’m just wondering to be prepared, Even if I’m scared of bugs I’m willing to hopefully change and give me sugar gliders a good home!
I do not get annoyed at all! I love interacting with my subscribers! Plus the more comments and likes a video gets, the more TH-cam shows the video to more more people, so It is a win win :) Gliders do not "need" bugs. they can eat the dried but most don't prefer them that way. I HATE meal worms personally and only gave them dried for 3 years until I was at a friend's house and she offered a meal worm to my gliders and they got so excited! It was so cute so I decided at that point to get over my fear and just do it lol. Your gliders can live full and happy lives without them though so that is totally up to you!

heyy,i just got my glidder. at 1st when i bought it,it seems friendly but once its in the carry pouch its starting to make crabbing sounds few time when i brought him to home. i dont know how to take it out so i put the whole carry bag and unzip it,and put inside the cage. and my glidder dont wanna come out and when u try to show my back of the hand he kinda wanna bit it. should i just let the bag inside the cage?
Some zippered bags are not made to be put in the cage and would not be safe to do so. If it is safe you could leave it in the cage like a pouch. Sounds like your glider needs a little space and may not be ready for the bonding bag phase. I have a bonding video you might like and I have a bunch more for new owners coming. th-cam.com/video/IWAbqSrPIzk/w-d-xo.html
Can I put a little stuff animal in there cage 🤔I got a sugar glider 2 weeks ago and he is really a hand full like he run around in the cage but he is still like when I try to get close to him he lets me but makes a funny sounds when I try to get him out of the cage but I always put him in my hoodie so will that help me bond with him more like how do I get him to maybe just chill with me and not run so much
Definitely no on the stuffed animal 🥰. Bonding takes time 😉 just keep consistent and it will get better 🥰
@@sugargliderdiaries okay so I just like how do I get him to be calm around me like with my smell and stuff do I just keep him close to me a lot 🤔
@@sugargliderdiaries and he always makes sounds when I try to get close to the cage so when he is running around in his cage and I get close he makes a sound and when he is in his bed to when I want to pick him up how do I get him to be calm around me more 🤔
@@sugargliderdiaries what diet do you make for your suger glider the BLM or TPG
What kind of pouch is that? I can't find any double lined fleece pouches.
th-cam.com/video/jz5oPxlOMkU/w-d-xo.html check out my new haul video. There are some good vendors on there.
Is it possible to bring an 18 month old sugar glider into another group?
Yes it is. I brought my 3 yr old rehome into my colony of 3. Those videos are also on my channel
Do you know what color sugar glider is the cheapest?
BlissBlxssxms gliderpets.com has good pricing on all varieties
Duckhands FPV thx very much!
the least expensive glider coloring is always a "standard" (similar to Neytiri's coloring but with less white on the face). Standards tend to run about $200-$300 each
Sugar Glider Diaries thank you I am getting two grey sugar gliders with white faces
For around $325
anyone know where to get the "safe" bonding bags for gliders?
You might be annoyed I keep commenting on your videos, That’s completely fine! I understand, I just have a question if your willing to answer.
I’m very scared of bugs, But I understand they need meal worms and I’m willing to give them those.
I’m just wondering if you need to give them any other bugs, Or do the meal worms need to be live?
I’m just wondering to be prepared, Even if I’m scared of bugs I’m willing to hopefully change and give me sugar gliders a good home!
I do not get annoyed at all! I love interacting with my subscribers! Plus the more comments and likes a video gets, the more TH-cam shows the video to more more people, so It is a win win :)
Gliders do not "need" bugs. they can eat the dried but most don't prefer them that way.
Sugar Glider Diaries Thank you for letting me know! I thought meal worms were a need. I’m also not a fan of meal worms, So thank you so much for helping me out so much! I feel like this is the only place I can get good answers and knowledge for my sugar gliders! Thank you so much for answering all my questions and further ones! Your sugar gliders are so lucky to have a great home!
Where did you get your pouches? Its really hard to find the double lined ones. Thank you
my recent haul video has lots of vendors listed. I can't remember where I got the one in this video
Where do you get your bounding pouch from?
How can I connect with you
I love that pouch! Did you make it?
Kristina Evans the kinda rounded one? I didn’t and I unfortunately can not remember where I got it 😭. Sad!
Hey ladies (I didn’t make your pouch your video shows but I do make the round pouch ) mine is called a knapsac!
Im also going to get a sugar glider in 6 days! Also, do i need to buy 1 or 2 sugar gliders?
Congratulations. You will need two. Be sure the boys are neutered
im kind of nervous because the cloth that i use is really thin... is that safe? or is there a type of cloth that is saver to use? and how long should i keep the cloth in my bra before putting it in their cage
Only anti pill fleece is recommended for in the cage.
How do you recommended bonding when there are kids in the house? Can they sit quietly in the room with me while i do the bonding?
Yes I just advised no sudden loud noise if possible and let them settle in gradually 🥰
