Thank god for Jessica. She sometimes falls into the "white feminist" trap but I truly believe it's just out of ignorance. But she tries, and she sure does a lot more than other Hollywood feminists than simply talk big. At the very least she tries her best to help others whenever possible.

Ive watched the help yesterday and dang..such a masterpiece!!!! Its awful thats the life those strong women had at that time. Sooo unfortunate. Talkin of octavia: its disgusting that payment depends on race!!! Our black queens need to be appreciated more n more!!! Im glad this movie made the amount it made..what bout: giving payment to talent instead of race.
I think Octavia may have also been referring to Hispanic women (brown). Black and brown folks are paid much less than white people, so sometimes people refer to us as people of color just to be more inclusive, we're both fighting the same fight and there's power in unity.
