Spalletti easily picked the worst squad of players ever. 3 non-Italians no Pafundi, Casadei, Baldanzi, and then on top of that you include Kean over Chiesa? Chiesa on his worst day is better than Kean on his best day. What a disaster and an embarrassment Spalletti is with his choices. They will lose 3-0 and by default finish 2nd because Israel will finish last and Belgium are old past their prime. Then the worst outcome will happen, Spalletti will keep the job 🤦🏼♂️.

The Euro was such a horror, the sequence of horrible decisions so bad that I feel Spaletti future is doomed. He's only small part of the problem, though, the names u mentioned will play for Italy are disturbing - there isn't a single decent forward

@@ItaFootPod seriously 😂 I'm not Italian but I don't see any reason why Kean was called up. Or any reason why someone like Locatelli or Orsolini aren't called.(These aren't perfect players but for me, Orsolini should be called up instead of Kean)

Italy are finished. Seriously a dead footballing nation. The league is weak, the calibre of players is poor, the youngsters don’t get enough chances and overall are not good enough either.
I would put Italy in the same bracket as Norway, Türkiye, Ukraine, Czechia. Not a top tier football nation anymore and never will be again.

As an Italian I totally agree. Unfortunately. If you seriously look at the bigger countries like England and France they can sweep the teams listed, whilst Italy would salvage a 0-0 draw at best. The fact we’re getting so anxious about a game against France? They’re good but if we were good we wouldn’t be so worried about
Hard to argue against that given the current crop but the 12th player ...Grinta gives them an edge on most..even those supposedly far superior. The Italians can make a wheel barrow go fast if you saw the Monza GP. Respect your views.
@@minionmatt2345vlogsexactly. I look to the fact that Italy will likely have Raspadori and Retegui up front against France. Two very average players. Before, Italy had Vieri, Toni, Del Piero, Totti, Inzaghi, Montella, Delvecchio to name a few. If Dario Hubner was playing today, he’d be certainly starting for Italy. That’s how bad the quality has dropped.
Defence and the midfielders aren’t exactly excellent either. Italy just a very average team now. And sadly, people need to accept that.
