The way Sung had that reaction of laughing speaking about his father. It was as such a true emotion, oddly. I’ve been there and know it hurts, I’ve been otw to a hospital after my father had a heart attack. I was in a washing machine of emotions. Thank god he is still here, but I truly hope he finds peace and keeps the courage he has. This channel is so great so far. Two great guest so far!
I met Magnus at SEMA 2013, he had a stripped down 911 chassis on display. We were showing our fiberglass C1 and C2 corvette replica bodies at the time, super chill dude and very down to earth. Still have a sticker he gave me on my old laptop that only gets used for music. Great channel guys!
Magnus Walker one of my favorite car people! I loved his TED talk and this interview was just as great! Sung and Emelia make the perfect team for interviews like these!
Had the pleasure of doing some maintenance work for Magnus at his warehouse. He was so gracious. Love his no bullshit approach. Nice job here by the channel hosts.
Thank you for this podcast with Magnus. I got to California in 1990. I'm originally from Chicago, and I wanted to make it out here some kind of way. And just like magnus, I didn't want to go back home because I considered it being a failure. Before this podcast, I never heard Magnus speak. It always seems as if he was some kind of mystical enigma. Now I realize he's just a down-to-earth chap trying to find his way. Thanks again for that interview!
I lost my grandmother when she was full sundown, doesnt know who her family is, status. Even though my relationship with her was different than between Sung and his dad i do know what it's like to talk to them and they just look at you like "who are you and why are you here." It's definitely rough. Thank yall for sharing this conversation.
Sung, even if you have to whisper it in his ear while he sleeps in a hospital bed, maybe hours away from his time, you should do it. I told my father who chose a life with his other family instead of me. I whispered I forgive you, have only love for him, and it's ok for him to move on. He was pretty out of it on morphine but his eye opened wide with a confused look at first and then a big relax smile. He faded back into sleep and I gave him a kiss on the forehead. I got home about an hour when the hospital called to let me know he had passed. Just go say what you need to. You won't regret it. I love your show guys. I are two awesome car folks. Keep it up.
Man this was an awesome watch. I knew of Magnus and that he did special Porsche builds but that is all I knew. Watching this really resonated with me for some reason and I'm grateful for you guys doing these podcasts.
The interview with Magnus was really cool, I had already watched the video you made with the Porsche and the FuguZ a few years ago! Regarding your stepfather Sung's illness, I have been following some interviews where you have talked about the subject...my father and I had a life of turbulence and I feel like we never really forgave each other even though he died by my side! So, resolve all the hurts now, forgive him, hug him, kiss him, leave no room for regrets! Keep only the good memories with you, that's what makes life worth living! 🙏🙏Congratulations on the new Channel ! Much love !❤❤
I’m so happy to hear that fitness was the big primary start of motivation. As of myself I workout 3 days a week an that started my motivation into getting my CDL 3 to 4 years ago. If I never had fitness in my life I don’t think I’d have confidence or the motivation to go after my life goals. So nice to hear the same from you guys.
That was an amazing episode awesome❤ it's nice for you this to speak freely about normal things in life but I have to say this life is short and tomorrow isn't promised so make sure make sure that you tell the people in your life that matter that you love them and spend time with them when they're gone they're gone don't have that regret make sure you make peace and you tell people how you how you feel👍🙏❤
Appreciate his Zen and dancing to his own drumer is so refreshing in the youtube world compared to the hype&style of traditional car scenes,he defines car culture. The risk you're afraid to take could be the one that changes your whole life.
Sung sang then em & magnus heard his power ballad…..different deep insightful take on things. Keep on keeping on Appreciate this contribution 🙏 & 🍻✌️doing cool shtt w/ cool ppl
This pod cast is going to be huge 1 if not 2 million subscribers in a year or so when it takes off n its going to be quiet the rocket ride maybe you need a jay leno interview to light it right up as hosts n formats right on point
I met them while rhey were filming furious outlaws. Don't know if they remember a kid with a red focus. I was just casually driving up there and happened to run into them at Newcombes
So much of this resonated with me. I was estranged from my father for 30 years behind a resentment I was carrying. After I sobered up from my drinking problem I made amends for my part in things and managed to have quite a few good years with him before the cancer took him. Do it now because you have no idea how long you are going to have with people. I was in Las Vegas the week before the race and it was a shit show. Streets closed left and right. If you missed a turn it took you miles out of the way. I know it's a different experience for celebrities.....
I'm a 2000s raver and my daughter is in love with the 90s/00 fashion...anyone have any idea what pants Em is wearing??? They are giving me kikwear /UFO vibes and my daughter wants a pair.
This is one's only hope ever: See Romans 10:9-13 and 1 Cor.15:3,4 and Psalm 22:16 & Isaiah chpt.53 (even in the Jewish bible). After salvation see Matt.10:28 and Mark 12:30,31 auth.kjv bible only.
This channel will be BIG!
Agree!...Assuming they make new EPs and don't just keep reposting old one's...

Legit, haven't been this excited for a TH-cam channel in a loooong, loooooooong time!

I love hearing the stories of interesting people. And what better hosts than Sung Kang and Emelia Hartford? Down to earth, real as they come.
Man this was an awesome watch. I knew of Magnus and that he did special Porsche builds but that is all I knew. Watching this really resonated with me for some reason and I'm grateful for you guys doing these podcasts.
I could literally listen to Sung talk for hours and hours on end.

The true outlaw!
Sung Kang played a role in fast and furious films. I recognized him from that. nice idea the podcast..
Awesome guest for second show
I need long form content like this as background while I work.
You need to get Craig Lieberman next
I met them while rhey were filming furious outlaws. Don't know if they remember a kid with a red focus. I was just casually driving up there and happened to run into them at Newcombes

💖
I'm a 2000s raver and my daughter is in love with the 90s/00 fashion...anyone have any idea what pants Em is wearing??? They are giving me kikwear /UFO vibes and my daughter wants a pair.
Looks like cargo pants made of denim from the late 80s early 90s
Is that Sung’s dag?
This is one's only hope ever:
See Romans 10:9-13 and 1 Cor.15:3,4 and Psalm 22:16 & Isaiah chpt.53 (even in the Jewish bible).
After salvation see Matt.10:28 and Mark 12:30,31 auth.kjv bible only.
They shrunk Magnus down 50%.
Surprised emelia doesnt go all in racing, you can act when youre 80, the older you get the harder it is to race
Yep great , best four characters seen in same shot for ages . Stick to yer guns , don't go fookin croaky voice please Emeia . 🙃
I lost my bunny 🐇 no stages for it just gone
XJS
Emelia looks bored 😴 😊
That girls A car junkie she's just absorbing LOL
Doesn’t talk much when comes to these pod casts
Dude you can do better
I'm sorry Emelia, your cohost could bring on depression.
