Laws need to adapt according to the developing society. You can't just sit there and say we can't make new laws because it will do harm to society. Whenever any law is passed it's pro and cons are already identified and action are taken according to it

Society ko accepting banana padta hai. Aise hi logon ki soch badal nahi jaati. There are many other lgbtqia+ people in India who want to get married to their partner but can't. They can't enjoy the same rights as a cis, straight person and this is not a trivial issue to be cast aside in favour of other issues.
