    Fantastic images! The more images I see from the X-T1 the more I'm convinced that I don't need my larger DSLR camera. Very nicely done, thanks!

    Love the all black and white format. There is always so much color in a wedding and this emphasizes the simple beauty of the event. Nicely done!

    Evokes a timelessness and captures not only this wedding but those from any era since cameras were used - wonderful.

    Wonderful images and a an important example of the fact that the most important thing in photography is the the vision of the person BEHIND the camera, not the gear they have in their hands.

    Very nice Kevin. I have shot a few weddings now with a brace of Fujifilm X-T1 plus 14, 23, 35 & 56mm lenses and have been highly impressed. One of the guests was a little concerned that my cameras didn't look like professional models. After putting him right and by running through the spec and showing him a few images on the camera screen I told him to Google Kevin Mullins!!

    Absolutely beautiful images! Love the style, just like the old film days. Recently started with an X100T and I'm hooked, getting rid of all my Canon equipment and buying an xpro 2. Even though I shoot RAW, the jpegs are stunning. Shooting is now fun again! Thanks.

    Hi!
    I know your work has only a short time, and the photos are beautiful!
    In 5:23, did you super expose the photo so that the man's face did not appear, or was it unintentionally? Thank you, you are really an inspiration.

      Very harsh light streaming from the right into a very dark barn so the exp comp is cranked up about three stops. Thanks.

    Hi Kevin, thanks very much for sharing this post, your work is inspirational for other photographers. Being an owner of a first generation X100, it would be interesting to know your camera choice for the non intrusive candid shots, with X100 you would of have to get in fairly close to get some of those results, but with the X-T1 perfect. What lens did you have on it ? the standard kit 18-55 (I think that's the standard kit that ships with it) ? cheers and many thanks.

    • @kevin_mullins
      @kevin_mullins  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Adron Goddard I shoot with both the X100T and X-T1 with 23 & 56mm lenses. I get in very close - in fact, I just act like a guest which is about as discreet as you can get ;-)

    Hi Kevin, I have just started to follow your work, one word - "excellence" and love your style, I started with Nikon, up to Nikon D800 and pro glass, I then moved to Olympus, em-1 system as the mirrorless system really got my attention, I was going to switch to Sony, however with so many adaptors/menu system needing somthin out of this world to figure out, I was asked to look out for the up and coming Fuji XT-2 by a fellow pro photographer. which I am now doing, could I ask what glass you use to shoot your weddings ? I am a studio/wedding photographer. Thank you for any input. look forward to seeing more of your work.
    Thank you.

      Thanks Kevin, I really wanted the flip screen, otherwise I would have gone with the Xpro2, fingers crossed they keep the flip screen on the Xt-2. I think I will purchase a Xt-1 for now and wait for the Xt-2.
