I would probably wear it as a necklace if I had one like it. Great work as always, Mr Puzzle. 👍I never tire of your vids.
Wonderful to see that even you can get stumped by a level 2 puzzle. ;) This principle is borrowed directly from another iteration of the exact same key-ring puzzle from some other manufacturer, though. I have seen it many times at magic conventions.
Same thing happened to me with a camera. The on/off switch of the camera broke in the middle of documenting my project material. We decided to remove the screw cap on the switch and turn it on internally. At the site in a small town, every one came to help me unscrew the cap. A crowd gathered around me on the street. No one could do it. Then at my hotel room I tried to unscrew it in the tightening direction, and it came off smoothly. 😑
These are the puzzles I like for my guests to play with when they come around. They are simple and easy but require a "trick". There are a few red-hearings which I also like.
If someone said I’ll give u a grand if you can get this ring off this key the first thing I’d think of is to look for weaknesses in the metal put in a vice and wack with hammer lol
Is a left handed thread really a puzzle? I usually don't guess the correct answer but in this case, my guess was left handed thread, right away. I'd rate it a 0.1 on a scale of 1 to 5. Brave of you to post your puzzlement of such an obvious answer.
It would be helpful if you checked out the availability of the puzzle you are showing with the web sites you post. Only found one place that is offering the Key & Ring puzzle and it’s out of stock!
Sometimes easy puzzles are fun too. I really enjoyed this video. Having a range from easy to hard puzzles makes your channel interesting. If it was only difficult puzzles that would get boring. A nice variety and different types of puzzles makes for a interesting watch.
If unscrewing the tip didn't work, the last resort that would not damage the ring would probably be to try to apply the thermal expansion of the metal.
Es wird im Leben so oft zu kompliziert gedacht, das man selten auf das einfache kommt. 🤔 Die nächste Stufe wäre die richtige Tür mit dem Schloss zu finden. 🤣
Kinda disappointed with the solution(not like that is on you). It's basically find the thing to be unscrewed and then there is nothing left to solve. Key puzzles are my favorite types of puzzles and well this was really simple.

Puzzle was so easy, Mr. Puzzle needed to make his own obstacles for more video.
Well that was fun! Keep them coming!
Nice puzzle for display...when he did the close up, I saw it coming. I work with mechanics and figured it was a left handed thread trick to it.
Great fun the way you explain the tricks. Thank you!
I actually wondered if it would have an unusual way of unscrewing it that wasn't I.immediately obvious. Pleased to have been proven right. They key itself is quite Steampunk actually. I would probably wear it as a necklace if I had one like it.
Great work as always, Mr Puzzle. 👍I never tire of your vids.
Well observed and thanks!
LEFT HANDED THREAD TAKES THE LEAD
Damn it English language...
Now, it's a horse race.
Wonderful to see that even you can get stumped by a level 2 puzzle. ;) This principle is borrowed directly from another iteration of the exact same key-ring puzzle from some other manufacturer, though. I have seen it many times at magic conventions.
You could say that Mr. Puzzle got....
Puzzled 😎
Same thing happened to me with a camera. The on/off switch of the camera broke in the middle of documenting my project material. We decided to remove the screw cap on the switch and turn it on internally. At the site in a small town, every one came to help me unscrew the cap. A crowd gathered around me on the street. No one could do it. Then at my hotel room I tried to unscrew it in the tightening direction, and it came off smoothly. 😑
big facepalm right there
These are the puzzles I like for my guests to play with when they come around. They are simple and easy but require a "trick". There are a few red-hearings which I also like.
😅👌It took me about 5 minutes before I started to consider the counter-clockwise threading. (loosen by screwing it clockwise). Great video, as usual!
If someone said I’ll give u a grand if you can get this ring off this key the first thing I’d think of is to look for weaknesses in the metal put in a vice and wack with hammer lol
thats a genius level puzzle. perfectly simple making it impossibly difficult.
What a beautiful puzzle for a simple solution. Hey, nice spoiler break song! It makes everyone happy.
Looks nice, but I realised how to solve it before the spoiler break.
This is beautiful puzzle. Nobody would have thought it was a left handed screw.
The sneaky left handed thread! Only the sand puzzle can be more difficult.
10 minutes was fast, i would take 10 days.
This is so clever!!
03:17 This is how I spend all day solving a puzzle!
Excellent video thankyou :-)
Is a left handed thread really a puzzle?
I usually don't guess the correct answer but in this case, my guess was left handed thread, right away. I'd rate it a 0.1 on a scale of 1 to 5.
Brave of you to post your puzzlement of such an obvious answer.
Thank you for the Solution sir.
Great looking puzzle, funny that you couldn't figure it out for that long :D
It would be helpful if you checked out the availability of the puzzle you are showing with the web sites you post. Only found one place that is offering the Key & Ring puzzle and it’s out of stock!
Nice looking puzzle! Beautiful.
Looking forward to more videos. Great production quality.
Used to right hand loosen.
Laughs in 14x1 lefthand ak barrel threads :)
You're a joy to listen to! Keep it up!
This was hilarious. Love this channel.
You are the best 😀😁😂
Very amusing, great job, hahaha!
so brilliantly simple, this one.
I was actually thinking about screwing that one off, but one you tried it with your right hand I had no idea 😂 great video though :)
I dont know if i would of done it quicker or not but i defiantly would of over thought it just like you did.
You're such a delightful fella.
Hit like on the comment, if you love solving puzzles.
Sometimes easy puzzles are fun too. I really enjoyed this video. Having a range from easy to hard puzzles makes your channel interesting. If it was only difficult puzzles that would get boring. A nice variety and different types of puzzles makes for a interesting watch.
Ayyy been a while, welcome back
I would absolutely love to have that puzzle, I'm left-handed and I thought that was really cool.
I enjoyed listening to you and your thought process 💖
This puzzle is easy, but it has great details.
Thank you for the video! All of you friends are super awesome!
When he finally reached the point where he said "screw it" he solved it.
Mr. Puzzle is puzzled. I can't wait till Puzzlemaster carries it.
Sometimes the hardest problems have the simplest answers🙂
Those cut away panning shots are great.!Made me excited for the spoiler break.
If unscrewing the tip didn't work, the last resort that would not damage the ring would probably be to try to apply the thermal expansion of the metal.
Nice production on this one
Es wird im Leben so oft zu kompliziert gedacht, das man selten auf das einfache kommt. 🤔 Die nächste Stufe wäre die richtige Tür mit dem Schloss zu finden. 🤣
oh ja :)
That's great!!! I am a technician also and I have gotten stuck disassembling parts for hours due to reverse threads lol don't feel too bad 😁
This gave me a good laugh. They gotcha.
Kinda disappointed with the solution(not like that is on you). It's basically find the thing to be unscrewed and then there is nothing left to solve. Key puzzles are my favorite types of puzzles and well this was really simple.
I'll never get that 7 minutes of my life back 🤦♂️
Does the end still screw off if the other rotating bits are screwed up tight? Also, any idea what the brass bit was about?
That was great! I thought 2+ different parts had to be aligned.
Lol yeah for sure u over thought it! Just love ur videos keep em coming.
