Okay hopefully you respond to my question. I have been telling my dog off and I have to drag him off so he’s already defiant about the couch. How do I train him in a positive way to get up and get down because I think he already doesn’t like to get down so how do I really enforce the behavior of get down and you’ll get a treat.
Then LOTS of reinforcement for being on the ground! Set him up a comfy spot that is all his own right next to the couch and provide lots of rewards for being there.
